As a solo female traveler I loved this Hotel! The Location was Gorgeous, it felt very safe to walk around alone and see the beautiful neighbourhood and large church and grounds nearby! The Staff were very friendly and very helpful for my needs, answered my questions kindly and helped me very early in the morning to call a taxi! The room and bathroom were so clean and comfortable I loved the charm of it! The whole hotel was charming and clean and the lounge area was nice to sit in and relax in the evening and talk to some friendly locals! The bar was reasonably priced with nice staff and a great list of drinks! Overall it was a wonderful comfortable experience for the one night, I wish I had more days to stay! Thank you!
The Tv could have had a bit more channels to scroll through for more programs to choose from and better reception

Liked that a quiet neighborhood a short bus ride or reasonable walk to downtown and close to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants and Royal Canal. We liked that a kettle, instant coffee, tea bags, UHT milk, cups and a kettle were provided. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Having heat coming through the vents (with outside temperatures as they were)made the room quite warm so we covered vents, opened room windows and hallway roof window to get a through breeze to cool room. Doing this and keeping room windows open made the temperature reasonable. The shower drained slowly causing a couple centimetres of water to accumulate. There was no hairdryer.

The hotel is in the outskirts of the city centre and about 30 minutes walk to O'Connell Bridge. It's a 3 star hotel and excellent value for money compared to staying right in the centre of Dublin. The unexpected bonus was the bar / restaurant which did great meals at a good price and if you are staying on a B&B basis the breakfast is also very good value for money compared to the city centre hotels. In summary an ideal base to tour Dublin, much better value than at 4 star hotel right in the city centre and the staff are really friendly.
The rooms were fairly basic but they were more than adequate for a few days in Dublin. They made the maximum use of the space available in each room and while that wasn't great for me travelling by myself but if I was in a group it would have been perfect because my room had a double bed and single bed so it makes it a mid-price hotel for friends or a small family visiting Dublin.

Very good value for money hotel. Comfortable bed and mattress. The room size was OK for my needs. Bathroom very big. The shower was nice with good pressure and hot enough, although see my comment below. Good location a short walk from Drumcondra bus and train stops for the airport coach and quite near to numerous bus stops for getting into the city. The hotel itself is in a lovely quiet residential suberb away from the busy city centre. Kettle in the room with tea and coffee making facilities.
The WiFi signal was bad at times - I would recommend installing a mesh system with a few more access points around the hotel. I would advise mopping the bedroom floor as well, as there was this strange black stuff dust on the floor that came up when my feet where wet from the shower. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom, so I just opened the window. The shower drain could do with some plunging to unblock it as it drained very slowly and nearly overflowed when the shower was on a higher flow setting (I had to run the water at lower pressure to prevent the shower filling up too fast). The lighting in the room could have been better - the spot light bulb above the desk was broken. There is a water pressure pump that goes on and off that one can hear, but I got used to it after a while.

The building was well kept and very clean in the communal areas. It was in a nice quiet area, only heard few cars coming by at night. A good location too with a short work to some restaurants and only a 30ish minute walk into the centre. The room was tidy and well kept and provided tea, coffee, milk, and an extra hairdryer. Extra bedding was also provided in the wardrobe. The staff at both check in and check out were lovely and informative too. Well worth the value and definitely recommend the stay!
The walls are quite thin so you can hear things quite loudly through them. However this was easily fixed with some headphones/earplugs!

Very friendly staff pleasant environs great dinning room nice bar clean tidy handy location will defiantly stay here again, informative reception staff well run and tidy guest house that has been in business a very long time and knows what a weary traveller needs fresh comfortable bed clean room something to eat and something to drink and a quiet nights sleep, the location is fairly central to the city centre with a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk, the building itself is a georgian house with large windows looking out to a well kept street with lovely welcome of a well laid out and kept landscaped garden to the front the ground floor is easly accesable however there is a split in the lever with the bar entrance being a couple of steps down
tv could have a few mainstream news channels

The friendliness of the staff, staff assistance, nice menu and a fairly firm mattress. A young lady in the bar/restaurant was simply marvelous, we were not well and had no appetites. It was arranged that we were served a half portion off the menu which was perfect.
We called this "the up the down staircase hotel." No lift and stairs that went up and up then down to get to the room. Hard on the legs and back for two old gals in their 70's, not to mention the staff having to clean and change the rooms on a daily basis. We were over the kitchen and there was no hot water in the bathroom until precisely 8 am after running it for more than a minute, have to think it was from the kitchen preparing breakfast and washing dishes. A little hard to get to from the buses and train station for older guests.

It was an amazing value in our favourite part of Dublin, the North Side! We loved the little restaurant and bar downstairs, and our room was snug but comfortable. It was an amazing value and the staff were very nice and helpful. I personally loved the funkiness of the place as well, and the crazy 70s lounge vibe going on in the bar on a Monday night was one of my highlights for the trip. Wow.
I mean, it was a pretty small room for a double and a single, but that was expected, so. I used to stay in hostels all the time, and this was so much better than that. We were thankful to be pointed to the free parking on the side street and maybe a little lucky to find a spot. For some reason, I thought there was dedicated parking for guests, based on the listing.

Very nicely presented from the outside. Smallish room but contained all you could ask for. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which we really enjoyed the staff in there were even kind enough to provide us with fresh milk to make drinks in our room.
We had nothing to complain about, we had a lovely overnight stay.

Great location, not far from stop for direct bus service from Dublin airport. Quiet area but able to walk into Dublin centre in about 45mins. Room was clean with a comfy bed and big bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Hot, powerful shower with shower gel provided.
Shower didn't drain very well so had to turn off water part way through shower to let water drain away so that it didn't spill over the shower tray and onto the floor.
