The property is ideal if you're planning to fly from Dublin airport but you want a bit of time in the city and a place to stay that's not too expensive. There's a bus stop just around the corner where a local bus runs every half hour all night, with a stop at Dublin airport.
There was a bit of noise outside on the street that you could hear from the hotel room.

Really friendly welcome. Although I couldn't check in earlier than fixed time; they were visibly still cleaning rooms, manager allowed me to use toilet. Then she informed me that I had been upgraded to a double room. Happy days. She clearly explained how to use door codes for getting back at night. Hotel is brilliantly situated. Straight walk to Croke park ( less than 10 minutes) and 5 minutes to O'connell Street. Tea and coffee offered, a nice touch. Excellent value for mid July.
Nothing worth mentioning. I don't really understand bad reviews. Shower unit would need a makeover. But if they refurbish everything, prices will go up.

The bed was comfortable, the room was cosy, nice temperature, the bathroom was spacious enough, shower was nice too. Lady at front desk was very helpful & friendly also. ☺️
The view wasn’t the nicest but it didn’t matter to us at all. Tv was hard to work as well but again, we didn’t mind that in the slightest.

I was mostly surprised to find a decent-size bathroom that smelled good because of toilet deodorant balls and a modern shower. Spacious enough room. Coffe machine. In the city. Overall nice
Would be great to add some extra soluble coffee in the room. We only had too bags

We stayed about 10 days in this guesthouse hotel, in the two rooms situated near the front desk and we were very pleased: the price was very good for the services the hotel offered: a clean room with a tv , a comfortable bed, a kettle and everything you need to prepare a tea/coffee in the morning: tea bags, nescafe sachets, milk pods, sugar sachets, and individually wrapped biscuits for the coffee/tea...a wardrobe where you can put your clothes and a private bathroom with a shower. Every day we had our sheets and towels changed. The location is perfect...10 minutes away from the city center. Special thanks to the girls from the front desk, they were all very friendly and helpful. Next time we'll stay in Dublin, we will definitely choose Lyndon Guesthouse!

The apartment was very clean and tidy, despite the fact that the building is old. Very close to the center and transport. Nearby there is a mini market and a supermarket where you can buy food and water. Extremely pleasant and friendly staff, the female administrator is very kind and responsive (especially thank her for the personal hair dryer provided !!!)
We woke up at 5 am because we had a morning excursion, there was no water in the taps, the heating was off. The lack of water in the taps was very uncomfortable.

Perfect location to cental dublin whether walking or grabbing a bus . Classic architecture, very comfortable , clean and great for a short stopover . Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Cannot say anything displeased me , but good advice to any traveller staying in any b and b would be carry an insulated flask and fill with chilled water or juice to make your night more comfortable . I did this and did not look back.

It was close to the centre just a walk down Gardiner Street. Bed was comfy, room warm and the place was clean. I borrowed a hairdryer and iron. There was a kettle tea bags coffee etc. Also shower gel in Shower and shower was nice and hot. The room was a decent size.
Everywhere need some TLC, but to change sinks etc costs money. The curtain tie back holders stick out a lot and u bump into them at side of bed. A pity there werent any more pillows we usually have 2.

Very nice and clean room for two adults. Bed was comfy enough. Always warm. Anna in the reception and the whole team was attentive and very kind. Just 20 minutes walking from the Dublin center but 5 minutes to get to the nearest supermarket and from there only 2 minutes to the bus station to take you to the airport which is only 30 to 40 mins driving. For the price it's really worth the money.
