Nice welcome snack, nice staff (but not 24 hours)

The sound insulation is very poor, I can clearly hear the horns on the road and the TV next door (the neighbor watching TV at 3am!)

Location was near everything, it was easy to explore the city from here. The lady who checked me in was also very friendly! Room had everything i needed & first night there was also snacks, thank you! Felt welcome. Comfy bed made me extra happy after long days of exploring :) Near are shops like tesco, so easy to go and grab what you need also!

The noice from the road and other rooms. But they offered earplugs and i also had my own with me, so it was okay.

Monica, who welcomed us was super nice. We arrived around 9:30 am and we were able to get into our room right away. She allowed our friends to leave their own luggages for a couple of hours until they could check in at their own accomodation. The room was nice and toasty. Everything was clean and working properly. In the little kitchen that was well equipped, we had bottles of water, juice boxes and muffins waiting for us. It was a really nice treat. The room is located about 1km from the core of the city which was a 10 min walk and easy to do. Overall, we really liked this place and we would definitely recommend it to somebody else.

People are often missing from the front desk. For instance, one morning it states 8am opening time for front desk, no one arrived until 9am. Also can’t get in without another guest letting you in if you’re early or late. Would recommend giving front door instructions 24 hours in advance

Only negative is traffic noise as it's on a main road but ear plugs were provided which helped a lot

I arrived late, and the staff left a chocolate chip muffin and a carton of juice as a little snack for me. Location was great - lively, and well within walking distance of river and city centre. Environs well provided by public transport and taxis, local shops and cafes nearby. And I really liked the ability to open the room's window for fresh air (it was a busy road, but ear plugs were provided). And the staff were friendly. Price very competitive compared to city centre properties. En suite was good too.

Not applicable - I'd love to stay here again

The hostess was so wonderful after a long flight from the USA. She had our rooms ready for early check in. Beds were comfortable, showers were great. She had travel size shampoo & soaps for all 6 of us (2 rooms) and drinks & snacks in the rooms. She was so warm and accommodating. She got our 1st visit to Ireland off to a great start. It is a charming old building, quaint. We walked to the Temple bar area no problem, and felt safe allowing our young adult children to stay out later than us.

No elevator so it is walk up. No big deal, we got our exercise in.

+ very comfortable bed + excellent location + calm and quite though it’s near main road + all facilities including hair dryer, iron and coffee-tea complementary station + friendly staff + quick responded through message channels + easy check-in system + we got the upper floor room as we wished though there is no elevator in the property. Still we are satisfied.

- shower speed was very very slow, it’s took almost double time to take shower for the ladies. - during our staying, there was some disturbance at midnight, some fire alarm rang long time. We stayed only 1 night, I don’t believe that similar disturbance occurs every night, it might be only for that certain night for some reason.

Kind, accommodating staff and a good location that isn't too noisy. The single room was spacious with a TV (already set up with YouTube, Netflix etc.), a large, comfy bed and, the part I appreciated most, a kettle station (with coffee, tea, a bottle of water, apple juice and a muffin). I was contacted beforehand and sent the information I needed to get into the building initially, which is very handy compared to some other city hotels that leave you outside trying to figure out which button to press to open the door. Relative to Dublin prices, this is the best value for money I've got staying in the city.

The room was a little too warm for me, probably because of the August weather, but I imagine this isn't a common issue for most people. Other than that, I had no issues at all.

Staff were lovely and the room was comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of space for the 4 of us
