The breakfast was 1st class. Staff so friendly and helpful. I do want to mention Gabriel in reception he was exceptional!! Would like to mention 2 other lady staff but I didnt take their names, one was in the bar the lady was in the restaurant.

Perhaps the area, i was unaware of north and south of the river! However, it didnt matter to us for a short break.

Excellent room , very clean , water and biscuits a lovely complimentary touch since last time i stayed , great bathroom . overall excellent hotel . Your member of staff Gabriel was particularly helpful , curtious with some help we needed. Asset to your hotel .

The hotel is close to Dublin's city centre, just 10-15 minutes walk to O'Connell Street and Jervis Shopping Centre.

Sometimes, the room can be a bit dry, so it would be great if the AC system could set the level of humidity.

Room was quiet even though was at front of hotel overlooking the main road. Was noisy when opened window. Friendly staff at meal times. Liked there was a restaurant which we used twice in the evening. A good selection at breakfast time though this was often very busy and had to wait to be seated. Quite often items needed to be replenished. As a vegetarian, found there was choice. Would have liked more pastries as ones I liked often empty baskets.

Uncomfortable pillows. Had a couple of stained bathroom towels. No sky/cable TV. Just Irish channels which made National and international news hard to acquire. Distance to main sites. Hotel at far end of North side of river. Not as close to attractions as thought. The initial impressions of the area were a bit off putting. Run down top end of street and massage parlour across the road didnt instil a lot of confidence. However, road was busy with bus stops used by many and generally felt safe. It’s a shame the massage parlours lower the tone.

Excellent service with charming staff. Great restauran and breakfast. Clean. Round the corner from the Hugh Lane Gallery which also has a great cafe with home cooked food for snacks or lunch.

The duvets were far too thick for this air conditioned room. Sweltering so we hardly slept all week. The hotel is situated on an extremely busy main road so again impossible to sleep with open windows due to noise. For these reasons wouldn't stay again. The decor - dark brown - could do with a revamp. A pity because other Maldron's we've stayed in are excellent all round. The area is slightly down at heel (a contrast with Parnell Square's illustrious history) and a little away from city centre.

We spent four beautiful and relaxing days.. in a structure with all the comforts, and very organized.. Great communication before arrival with necessary information. And very well kept!! From the check in when the supervisor helped with the payment to the checkout. Staff very friendly and professional. We thank in particular those who welcomed us in the right way, already in the morning.: Benedetta (Betty) smiling (and generous with advice for seeing the city) at breakfast.. Serena at the reception: she helped us meticulously to book our excursions and everything else.. and Martina also kind, even in the phase of managing our luggage.. good girls, keep it up! Ideally to have more room to store our clothes was ideal but not an issue at all.

Good sized rooms for a family of four. Three adults and a teenager Good location for walking or buses. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There were a couple of issues during our stay and it was dealt with professionally and promptly. Our son had an interview and they placed a card and some chocolates in the room to wish him well, it was a lovely touch. Everyone was polite and approachable

One thing I would like to raise was the lack of signage at the gluten free toaster. I had to say to another guest they couldn't use the toaster as it was for GF only. My concern would be how many other people have used the toaster for their bread containing gluten. I think there is a lack of awareness, in general for everyone, regarding how unwell this can cause someone who has an allergy. It can be instantaneous and disastrous as it causes D&V and acute abdominal pain for some. The separate area is great , would like to suggest a sign in several languages asking people to avoid using this toaster.

I had a fantastic stay at the Maldron Hotel in Dublin. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The attention to detail in the room design made for a great experience. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from, all fresh and delicious. The quality of the food and service made for a perfect start to the day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Dublin. Would definitely return!

However, the evening meal was disappointing. The quality didn’t match the high standard set by breakfast, and it felt underwhelming in terms of both taste and selection.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were comfortable with several amenities (even an iron!). Nice to have tea and coffee everyday in the room. The location was superb, close to everything!

It would be nice if the sheets were changed more often. In our whole stay(5 days), they didn't change them. The cups were not renewed too. We had to wash them with just water so we can drink again from the same one. The floor would also need a little freshening up every other day I guess! So the cleanliness was clearly an issue. Oh and it didn't have a fridge! I thought that it was essential for all hotels. I needed to keep my baby's milk inside, it went bad sooner and I had to throw it away everytime.
