Nice and helpfull staff, bathroom products from Rituals. At first we recived a room in the basement full of mold and the other day they moved us to a bether room and the staff was very nice and offered us a bottle of wine... Good location, 15 min walk to the center...

When we booked the room we did not now thet there are rooms in the basement full of mold and at the same price as a good room...

Reception area and corridors were nice and tidy, although always bags of dirty linen collected at foyer areas at the stairs. The rooms clean and comfortable.

One of our rooms got very cold during the night and we had to get a member of staff to fix the thermostat. Only 3 hangers in the closet, so very limited. Coffee machine in room not working. With regards breakfast the hot food seemed to be sitting a while, no choice of eggs other than boiled or scrambled, no different breads for toasting only a brown or white both of same type of loaf, no fresh fruit such like an apple or banana, limited cereal, no individual and/or flavoured yoghurt. Didn’t like having to go back and forth to get cups for tea and coffee then have to fill up milk jug and also get sugar - would have been nice if these were on the table. Only 1 coffee machine working so this meant a queue

Staff were lovely very helpful , room was very clean no air conditioning but they did have fans in the room . difficulty finding rooms as the layout is a tad confusing but they did have workmen putting up new room numbers not an appropriate time of the day for workmen to be working as people were arriving . It was very busy when I arrived but the staff at reception were very efficient & most helpful . I had booked in & paid for an early arrival but I received an e mail saying it was too late to book so to compensate me I was given a breakfast instead. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice .

Location near Hugh Lane Gallery and Rotunda Hospital, at the edge of Dublin City (North side of O’Connell St). Good location to explore the city. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Very nice bathroom with a good shower. Staff was kind.

There is no separate room for left luggage, everything was dropped in the lobby. That gives a very uncomfortable feeling, because everyone who passes there can grab your bags.

Beds were very comfortable, hotel decor beautiful, lovely bar

Soap and shampoo dispensers - could hardly get anything out of them due to the range of the pump. this applied to both rooms. No prices on the wine list in the bar?? We are widely travelled, and have never experienced this. We spent a lot of time with staff member,( whio was not very knowledgeable but to be fair would probably not know prices by heart, but could not provide a ball park figure) trying to figure what things cost so we could make our decision which was a waste of her time and ours. Being from abroad we had no idea what the prices would be - and didnt want a shock at the end with the bill. Reception staff we often short and borderline rode.

It was a great hotel and we were really satisfied with our room. The reception staff was very polite, we had a quick check in and our room was ready earlier than the check in time. The housekeepers cleaned our room and filled us with water bottles every day. We had breakfast only one morning, we didn’t like it so much but also the staff there were very polite and helpful.

The only problem we had was with the hot water. We had to wait a lot for the hot water to start. It wasn’t a big problem for us so we didn’t mention it to the reception but if you are in a hurry it could be a problem.

The hotel is lovely, clean, well maintained, is in a good location and staff are friendly. I have stayed here 3 times due to my son having surgeries etc in Temple St. hospital nearby and it is a short walk there in the morning from your hotel. The reason I mention this is that each time I have booked I have specified that we will have a 1 year old with us and will need a cot in the room. 3/3 times the cot has not been in the room when we arrived even though I received several emails telling me the request was being handled. Of course we were given a cot once we rang reception, but it’s not a task we want to carry out when we get there when we have already been told it’s going to be there. 2/3 times we were given room 207 which requires a trip up the lift (totally fine) and then a walk down a flight of stairs which is very, very inconvenient when you have several bags, a baby and a pushchair with you. The 2nd time we stayed we were given a room that didn’t require the use of stairs, but that was only because I sent a request ahead of time so this wouldn’t be the case before we arrived and the receptionist guaranteed that the room was easily accessibile. All in all the hotel, food, facilities and stay were fantastic, but I think it’s worth noting, not just for us but for other parents, that it’s not ideal assigning a room that requires the use of stairs when there are other bedrooms there that do not require this. Also, if someone requests a cot, have it in the room for them! I want to be clear that I’m not complaining - more so just reviewing and hopefully it will make a difference for someone else in the future or for when we stay again.

This is an excellent hotel. It has character and some of those features will make it stand apart from USA counterparts. The staff especially housekeepers are outstanding. However there is no AC, but we went in late September so that wasn’t an issue. The middle of summer could be difficult. The hotel is very quiet considering that they have an excellent dinner/show featuring traditional music and dance that runs late in the evening. We could hear the music in the lobby but not when we entered our room. The hotel is in the city center and less than 10 minutes from most day trips to other parts of Ireland. You can easily walk to any attraction in Dublin, but if you prefer to ride the hop on and off tours had a stop 5 minutes away. Ask the hotel staff and they can give you directions to a Dunnes store about 10 minute walk that has an excellent grocery store with better prices for water, snacks and soft drinks than most convenient stores. When we return to Ireland this will probably be our hotel of choice.

The shower was very small and the arrangement made it difficult to avoid getting water on the floors.

The hotel is updated, with a beautiful bar/restaurant, with amazing drinks and food. The location is ideal with many bus lines going around and shops very close by. The area seemed safe to us. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful too. I really appreciated having drinks offered in the room.

I'm cherry picking: - I know this is Europe, but a small fan to counteract the lack of AC would be wonderful for hot nights. - TV are outdated, with no possibility to have subtitles for shows in Gaelic

We recently stayed at the Belvedere Hotel in Dublin City Centre, and we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from O’Connell Street, with easy access to major attractions like Trinity College, Temple Bar, and the Guinness Storehouse. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The check-in process was smooth and quick, which we really appreciated after a long journey. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bed, a TV, and a kettle for tea and coffee. The bathroom was well-maintained with fresh towels and toiletries. Overall, we highly recommend the Belvedere Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located base to explore Dublin. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit!
