I loved the beautiful smell as you enter the hotel. The bedroom was nice and comfortable for our stay. The receptionist when we were booking in was friendly and polite.

We came back to the residents bar around 11 15 and we were left waiting for a long time. When a staff member eventually came, he didn’t know how to make an Aperol spritz. He told me I could only have a glass of wine which I didn’t want. The receptionist that was on duty passed us by and had a sad face on her.

I really enjoyed my stay in Dublin — the people were absolutely wonderful: warm, friendly, and easygoing, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. The Irish breakfast and buffet were consistently delicious — I had it seven days in a row and looked forward to it each morning. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and the room itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-designed. The bed was perfect for rest, the air conditioning worked flawlessly, and having a proper desk was a great bonus. The location was ideal — central but peaceful and clean. I also really appreciated how smooth and convenient the online check-in and check-out process was. Everything felt well-organized and thoughtfully maintained.

What didn’t I like? That I had to leave! Just got used to the full Irish breakfasts, friendly vibes, Irish music, and an extra pint of Guinness — now I’m back home dreaming of round two.

Our family group had a very enjoyable three day stay. Reception staff were very helpful and informative. Check in was very easy. One of our party is visually impaired and the hotel arranged that our family room was close to a lift. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was good and easily used by all our party. We had breakfast on all three days of our visit to Dublin. There is a good selection on the menu: cereals, fruit, juices, breads, croissants, charcuterie, good coffee and tea. There is a choice of hot food as well: full Irish breakfast, porridge, etc. The service was excellent. We felt that the breakfast was excellent value. We ate in the hotel each evening. The menu is small but as we sampled most of it we thought it was tasty and good value. Again, service was excellent; friendly and efficient. The hotel is located near Parnell Square at the top of O'Connell Street. It is five minutes walk (approx. 400 metres) from Upper O'Connell Street LUAS (tram) stop and the Aircoach link from Dublin airport. It is very close to the Hugh Lane Gallery and the James Joyce Centre and about 800 metres from the GPO. St Stephen's Green, the National Library, the National Gallery, MoLI, Trinity College and the Book of Kells can be reached in ten minutes by Green Line Luas from Parnell Square. The hotel is twenty minutes walk from EPIC. It can also be reached by tram. I don't normally write such long reviews but this hotel is worth the effort. We will definitely stay again. Tip: If you want a break from the city get a DART train from Tara Street south to Dalkey, Bray or Greystones or north to Howth. South has great view of the Irish Sea as the train follows the coast.

The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer.

We stayed twice at 7 Hotel Dublin, and both times were absolutely amazing. On our second visit, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. When we mentioned that our room felt smaller compared to our previous stay, they immediately accommodate us to a larger room, ensuring my daughter and I were comfortable. To make up for the inconvenience, they also offered us a complimentary breakfast the next morning , a lovely gesture that truly reflected their attentiveness and care. A special mention to Tatar (?), whose warm and genuine smile made every interaction feel personal and welcoming. Not once did it feel forced , just sincere hospitality from start to finish. I genuinely can't think of a single negative thing to say. Everything from the service to the comfort exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Ireland. Highly, highly recommended!

From the moment I checked in, I was presented with a friendly greeting from the staff at reception. I checked in early, and this wasn't an issue at all. My room was ready. The room was very spacious with a huge walk-in rainfall shower, which was amazing and so refreshing. The staff at breakfast were absolutely impeccable and so friendly, so accommodating and so professional. One lady in particular, she was so welcoming and you can tell she loves her job, I didn't get her name, but I think she might be a Polish lady. I remember a few years back, I had an afternoon tea, and it was the same lady who served us. I knew straight away when I saw her at breakfast that it was the same person. I stayed in the hotel once before about 5 or 6 years, and I have wanted to stay again ever since I finally got to, and it was worth it. Such a beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, professional staff, and a supurb breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel for a warm and welcoming stay in the city centre which is only a 5 minute walk.

I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The airport connection is good and quite fast, several bus options are available. Location is convenient, a bit off the beaten track, but there are several bus stops a quick walk away, taking you all over the city. Several pubs are also nearby. The room was spacious, very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was clean, well equipped. Delicious breakfast, offering both a self-serve buffet selection and warm options to order off a menu. Coffee was also really good. Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.

Carpet had some stains on it, no slippers provided, a bit of a strong smell in the bathroom

Great location and a nice luxurious feel about the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast or any meals in the hotel but our experience with the room was all positive.

My only criticisms would be that there was only plug sockets in the room next to the bed, none at the mirror or desk area. It made getting ready and drying/styling hair difficult and inconvenient. The cleaners also came into our room while we were there in the afternoon and seemed reluctant to leave when we asked for 2 minutes to finish getting ready to head out. Other than that, all staff were pleasant and everything okay.

the Hotel ist perfect for a stay in the City, you can reach everything easily from the hotel. The hotel service ist absolutely friendly, especially the Lady who ist responsible for the breakfast service. The breakfast itself is delicious and you can geht everything you want (fruit, bread, rolls, different Waters and Juice, a perfect Coffee machine, Irish and Continental breakfast. The rooms are Not too big, we used a 3bed room, but big enough. The showers are very good. The beds were comfortable and the room service left nothing bad to say. our stay was perf

Well located, close to bus stops and within walking distance to the old town (if you don't mind a bit of walking); plenty of shops and cafés nearby. Breakfast was superb, with a nice buffet (bread and pastries, various mueslis, some fruit, cheese etc,) and a very good selection of hot breakfasts to choose from in addition. Room was spacious, comfy and most importantly: cozy and warm. Complimentary water, tea and coffee (including cookies) were much appreciated. Staff was wonderful - genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful.

For my taste, there could be a little bit more fruit at the breakfast buffet, but there were enough other healthy options like muesli, nuts and dried fruits. (Tried really hard to find something that could be improved...)

I liked the cosy design of the room, and of the hotel lobby, corridors, having mini-fridge in the room, rain shower, quietness. The hotel also offers the afternoon tea, which I plan to book in the future. The staff is very helpful and polite.

I wish the TV had more channels. On my second night the guest above me decided to be up after the midnight well until 3 am - so hearing 'elephant' steps' (maybe dancing) didn't help my sleep, otherwise the soundproofing is very good. The hotel is quiet. But we cannot control how other guests around us will behave. It happens in every hotel.
