Location was great - had to catch an early morning flight, so was ideally placed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though the place was very busy.

Paid for the car park - went out for dinner - came back and no parking spaces available. In fairness, there was a no quibble refund of the cost. That said, we had to park on street and if we weren't leaving early, would have to have been up at 07.00 to pay on street parking.

Great hotel, friendly staff, very clean, very comfortable family rooms, cozy lobby, very close to the airport ( 10 mins with no traffic). Lidl is next door, which is very convenient.

Although it is very close to the airport, it is about 45-50 mins walk to the centre, which is doable but the areas you need to go through are not very nice. It spoilt our overall impression of Dublin.

The bed was so comfortable I had some very good sleeps. The room was clean and spacious enough and the shower was very nice. The restaurant was very good too, nice atmosphere and ambience. The bus stop was just across the road with a 10mins ride into town which was much cheaper than a taxi, saved a lot of money doing this.

I didn't like facing the road because of the noise from the road but the only Kingsize rooms are at the front. However from the 4 night stay there was only one morning I was woken by a motorbike. In fact I had very good sleeps. I did not like how the price of the hotel was hiked for the rugby. The first night was reasonable then it doubled the next two nights. I knew this before and all hotels do this but think it's very wrong!

We arrived very early to drop off bags from airport, delighted to discover 1 of the rooms was ready and at no extra charge Majority of staff were efficient & friendly Rooms were nice with a very comfy bed, great cleaning service Food & service for dinner was fantastic Lifts were great Lobby & bar area very nice Great location Would return again

Small issues were Breakfast waiters never cleared our tables until we left, never asked if we wanted more tea/coffee toast etc. Also we needed to ask for things to be topped up on buffet Outside seating area needs tables wiped and ashtrays emptied more often I reported both these issues on check out, so hopefully they will be addressed and we will enjoy visiting once again

The location was great for us- centralized from airport to golf to Dublin center. The hotel was well worth its value! The lobby is set up with comfy couches n chairs for you to sit, relax n chat. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with a king size American bed and mini fridge- yay! The restaurant and bar were grand! Good food, prices and service! N if you’re a smoker, a nice covered sitting area for you to enjoy! They also have their own parking area- big plus if you have a car! All in all- a great value!

The only negative is, if you don’t have a car, you have to get an uber if you want to get to Dublin center, costing 12-15 euros.

The Dublin Skylon Hotel is my new favorite hotel in Dublin for sure. It is an absolutely fabulous hotel. The bedroom that I stayed in was absolutely perfect. It was lovely and spacious, and the en suite bathroom was definitely one of the nicest bathrooms I've been in. All of the staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. The food in the bar was also top class. I ate my dinner there one evening and it was perfect. It was very tasty and lovely presented. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a VERY NICE Hotel in Dublin to stay here. You certainly will not be disappointed. I will most definitely return here again. It exceeded my expectations completely. The location is also perfect. 10/10.....

I really liked our stay here. The hotel seemed new. It was super clean. Staff very friendly with tips on traveling around Dublin. Possibility to have Afternoon Tea at the hotel. The restuarnt is pretty good. There's a Lidl nearby and some good pubs and restauratns. Right on the bus line, easy to get into Dublin. 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Go the opposite way on the same line and you easily get to airport. I'd stay here again; it was pefect for us.

For what we needed for quick access to the airport and with a rental car, it was convenient to have parking and a place to spend the night with restaurant facilities - and the food was decent!

No air conditioning. At the time of the visit, it wasn’t actually very hot outside but with the single window and very small slit for air exchange, the room for 4 people with a single fan was actually warmer than what it was in the lobby! Coincidentally, we travel (each) with a travel bedside fan and even with 4 of those plus the fan supplied by the hotel, it was still warm in the room! Again, it was cooler outside and even in the hallways!

Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and kind and went above and beyond to help me with some logistical issues I had. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast and lunch were very friendly but more importantly efficient. The food was very good.

The staff in the restaurant in the evening were woeful, the first time I ate there I waited 50 minutes for my meal then 40 minutes for the bill. The second night I had to get up from the table and find a staff member to take our order, then yet again I gave up waiting to pay the bill as I simply could not get any attention from the staff. As a single mother travelling with my child I felt extremely overlooked in favour of larger groups at other tables

Located for the airport traveller as well as for popping out to eat in one of the many restaurants bars and cafes nearby. A simple bus ride from and back to the airport! (remember to have cash ready if you are a one off bus user - 2 euro 50 cents at time of writing) Lovely comfortable bedrooms. Breakfast is buffet style in the bar area and meets all the expectations of an Irish breakfast. We booked the amazing SHOUK restaurant which is a ten minute walk to the Drumcondra railway station. Out of this world food and quirky restaurant. A must if staying at the Skylon but plenty of other options including the hotels bar food/restaurant which was busy! Bus stops 1 minute away! No 16 or 41 for the airport and come every 10 mins or so.
