Comfortable room with tea-making facilities and a TV with Chromecast. The food in the restaurant both at breakfast and in the evening was very good. The airport shuttle runs every half hour and takes less than 15 minutes.
Although the hotel sent an email asking for pre-registration it didn't include any information about the airport shuttle. On arrival at the airport I phoned the hotel but reception was busy and the person who answered the call said someone would call back . They didn't. I phoned again and this time got reception who told me that the shuttle departs from Bus Zone 16 at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour.

Bus driver called out sick but staff was nice and ordered us a taxi to get to the airport the next day.
There was a bug running around the shower when we moved the foot towel, pillows on bed were pretty drab. Biggest complaint (which is partially my fault for not checking location) but it’s called metro hotel Dublin airport and it was a pretty far drive from the airport. They did have the bus picking people up but it was late to the pick up. The pricy was ridiculous considering the room was small and not even actually located in the airport which is the only reason I justified the price point (because I thought it was connected to the airport)

Perfect shuttle experience- make sure you pre book with reception. Nice restaurant with good food, probably not a scratch kitchen but good. Apt 1301 has a large living area, washer with soap included. Primary bedroom shower was a nice size and the door slide shut. It was warm when we entered, but quickly became almost cold after opening windows.
Bedrooms were tight, with bed covering most of the floor plan and only room for one side table, guest shower was yellow on the bottom? Protective film or damaged by cleaning products- my daughter was comfortable using it. You must be an instruction reader- how to turn on hot water in showers during off hours. Neighborhood doesn’t have much and was described as ‘dodgy’

Hotel very clean staff very friendly & helpful
We had arranged for the hotel shuttle bus to pick us up from the bus terminal at the airport. When we arrived we went collection point . We waited for 15 mins but no bus came. I phoned the hotel they told me he'd be with us by 4.30. He didn't arrive until 5pm by this time we were all cold and wet as the weather was awful.. The bus driver didn't even apologise to us when we told him we had been waiting for over an hour & were freezing waiting so long. He made the excuse of traffic but there was no evidence of traffic on way to hotel. I did make a complaint along with other guests from USA who were in the same position. The receptionist said she would pass it on to the Manager but to date I haven't heard anything.

Wonderfully clean and spacious apartment. Incredible views of the city from the kitchen and massive balcony. We slept well - comfortable beds, great showers… and great security. Shuttle to and from the airport is punctual and that helped immensely as we knew where and when to go to catch the free service to the hotel. Driver was so nice too, so that was a bonus. We arrived too late to enjoy dinner, but I hope to do that the next time we are through Dublin.
As I stated, we arrive late so we didn’t get to enjoy the apartment as long as we would have liked, but we will be passing back through before our flight back to the states and plan to stay in the Metro Dublin apartment again.

great location and good for over night stay
the bar staff were rude. he was an older man, fair hair and not Irish on the night I stayed. he said he had run out of my sparkling wine, offered no alternative about from “look at the wine list”. for a female solo traveller its uncomfy enough going to the bar alone, without being then faced with unhelpful, unfriendly, bar staff with a can’t be bothered attitude. I left the bar without a purchase because of him and lack of customer service.

The Metro Hotel Dublin Airport was a great choice for our final night. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite, and it was very spacious and well laid out. The suite had a main entry door that opened into a private hallway, with the master bedroom having its own bathroom. There was a roomy kitchen and living area, plus a balcony accessible from both bedrooms and the living room—great views from the 14th floor! Though we didn’t use the washer or kitchen appliances since it was a short stay, it was nice to have them available. The location is convenient to the airport, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the space and comfort for our group of four.

The staff are always outstanding, friendly, respectful and professional. Stefano was such a help in a crisis we had personally (before arrival), kindly printing off a load of papers we needed for our travels in multiple places and nations). Jordan and Amanda served us with flair and attention for our evening snack and drinks. Federica was an outstanding hostess at breakfast, was present to see us check out, and delivered a clipboard for us to use with the papers that Stefano printed for us and we never even asked her for anything like that. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and service was marvellous and exceptional. The breakfast was tremendous and catered to so many tastes. We have already recommended the hotel to several people asking for the best place to stay locally near the airport.

This was our second time staying at the Metro Hotel and I would absolutely return if we need a night in Dublin near the airport. Great room and fabulous service. Mary at reception is a true gem and Conor helped us a couple of times with things we needed for the room. They just go above & beyond to be kind and helpful. Having the 2 bedroom apartment for our party of 4 was the perfect end to our stay. We enjoyed the kitchen and living room area.
We had some minor issues with the shower in this room, but all in all it was another wonderful night.

I was expecting your basic airport hotel but this one was NICE. Super friendly reception manager, clean and nice looking spacious bright rooms-i had room with a little kitchenette (fridge and a micro). Also my room was in a quiet section so I got the rest I could. Short walk to grocery store Eurospar and Lidl for those last minute shoppings. Nice looking menu although i only ate breakfast-which catered all I needed. Definitely loved this room and wish I could have stayed longer. I was in 4th floor watching storm Eowyn sweep the world outside. Theres also a shuttle bus to the airport but because of Red alert due to Eowyn it was not going that morning. Must say i also loved the dim lighting at breakfast, a nice touch i can't say I've seen before.
