Comfortable room with tea-making facilities and a TV with Chromecast. The food in the restaurant both at breakfast and in the evening was very good. The airport shuttle runs every half hour and takes less than 15 minutes.

Although the hotel sent an email asking for pre-registration it didn't include any information about the airport shuttle. On arrival at the airport I phoned the hotel but reception was busy and the person who answered the call said someone would call back . They didn't. I phoned again and this time got reception who told me that the shuttle departs from Bus Zone 16 at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour.

great location and good for over night stay

the bar staff were rude. he was an older man, fair hair and not Irish on the night I stayed. he said he had run out of my sparkling wine, offered no alternative about from “look at the wine list”. for a female solo traveller its uncomfy enough going to the bar alone, without being then faced with unhelpful, unfriendly, bar staff with a can’t be bothered attitude. I left the bar without a purchase because of him and lack of customer service.

The staff are always outstanding, friendly, respectful and professional. Stefano was such a help in a crisis we had personally (before arrival), kindly printing off a load of papers we needed for our travels in multiple places and nations). Jordan and Amanda served us with flair and attention for our evening snack and drinks. Federica was an outstanding hostess at breakfast, was present to see us check out, and delivered a clipboard for us to use with the papers that Stefano printed for us and we never even asked her for anything like that. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and service was marvellous and exceptional. The breakfast was tremendous and catered to so many tastes. We have already recommended the hotel to several people asking for the best place to stay locally near the airport.

I was expecting your basic airport hotel but this one was NICE. Super friendly reception manager, clean and nice looking spacious bright rooms-i had room with a little kitchenette (fridge and a micro). Also my room was in a quiet section so I got the rest I could. Short walk to grocery store Eurospar and Lidl for those last minute shoppings. Nice looking menu although i only ate breakfast-which catered all I needed. Definitely loved this room and wish I could have stayed longer. I was in 4th floor watching storm Eowyn sweep the world outside. Theres also a shuttle bus to the airport but because of Red alert due to Eowyn it was not going that morning. Must say i also loved the dim lighting at breakfast, a nice touch i can't say I've seen before.

The staff were really friendly. The hotel room & bathroom were very nice, clean everything we needed. The food in the restaurant absolutely delicious 10 out of 10! And really lovely restaurant staff! Complimentary airport shuttle great!

The mattress on the bed! Oh what a shame I have to say a bad thing but honestly the twin beds we got were tiny think 2'6 really and pushed together but the mattresses oh lord they were the worst we've ever slept on(actually we didn't sleep too uncomfortable) Metro your hotel is so friendly, lovely ambience, delicious food, but you are so let down by the mattresses!!

I liked the TV, the clean white sheets and towels, the big mirrors, high bed and mattress, all the amenities and cleaning service in the morning.

I did not like the shower head being full of limescale and water stains…I was a housekeeper, I can tell when they’re not up to par😬 Sheet on the bed was crooked on the sides and looked a little “done in a rush”. Lack of overall warmth of the room…20°C maximum. It was cold if one was to stay outside the sheets. No heat in the bathroom either. Radiator completely cold, floors cold…sucked a bit. And we could not change settings from the thermostat. At all. Lack of ventilation in the bathroom. Lack of fresh air, no window opening, no ventilation in the room. Room next to a loud-ish door and laundry bags. Ground level sucked a lil. Not what we expected.

Initially from the outside the hotel did not look very appealing, but the welcome and attention we received from the very kind international staff quickly dispelled any hesitations we had about diving into things. The hotel has a unique structure and design, and marvellous use of space. There were lots of quaint little nooks and crannies to retreat to for relaxation and for meals or beverage. My wife and I found a lovely little spot in the dining area where we had a DELICIOUS light supper and drink before an early bed. The all-Irish restaurant staff had accents and a charm and banter that is rarely found in many hotels now, and, after living abroad for many years, it was fantastic having that downtown Dublin accent feel to cheer one after a long journey to the 'aul country. The staff in the restaurant felt like they were not able to give us top notch service over questions I had about recommended wine, and my wife and I were absolutely blown away when the bill arrived with a serious discount and no charge on one particular beverage. We have talked about that single act of kindness many times and it has made us recommend the hotel to many of our friends and colleagues both here and abroad. Thanks to the marvellous staff for all they did to make our stay not only comfortable, but exceptionally pleasant. Owing to our early flight out the next morning we were not able to savour the breakfast on offer, BUT, we still feel we have found our go-to airport hotel (with its regular free shuttles) to replace our previous hotel that has raised its prices and dropped its service.

No dislikes

A great location for what we wanted and a regular shuttle to and from the airport- even the shuttle driver was helpful and friendly. Mary at reception was a star! We were there for a 40th birthday trip and she made our trip from the start. We had a top floor penthouse which was huge with great views, it was so clean and had all the amenities we needed. Mary arranged a taxi for us which came quickly. We would absolutely stay again!

Nothing! It’s not in the most ‘glam’ area as is out near the airport but we had an early flight home and it was perfect for that.

Super well located with free shuttle bus to the airport at anytime of the day (even late and early). Close to Santry by walking distance to good cafes and a few shops ( even though NOT a touristic neighborhood) Very clean with daily room cleaning Spacious enough room with all necessary amenities, free tea and coffee. In house restaurant and bar. They sell power adapters which was super useful Price is okay

Nothing. All was good. The neighborhood is not the best in Dublin area but it’s 10 minutes from Swords, Malahide etc, so very good option to explore that nice area on a budget.

I still have to give a HUGE THANKS to the staff who helped me because I had a panick attack during my stay. They were all very helpful and helped me to get a doctor near the hotel on a Sunday! The barkeeper on the arrival night was also very friendly. The room was comfortable (we were lucky to get a free upgrade) and we took the breakfast one morning, it was also very good. There is a bus stop close to the hotel and more or less every 10/15 minutes a bus going directly to Dublin city center. The stay was not cheap anyway it's not the hotel itself, prices are just high in Dublin generally.
