Location good, room very comfortable with tea and coffee, good quality toiletries. Restaurant on site although we didnt eat there, also Mcdonalds and another restaurant in same grounds together with petrol station. Two ladies at reception very friendly and welcoming. We asked about a short extension as we were going to a wedding and this was arranged with ease. Special mention to Dylan who was receptionist on the day we checked out, we were having problems with the IHG app but he sorted it out for us and was very friendly and helpful, an excellent ambassador for the hotel. Well kept grounds and plenty room for parking.

Great hotel, we had a family room with two double beds. Very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and Gabrielle was really helpful and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area. There was a great choice of foods for breakfast and special thanks to Garmon who was very helpful.

The bathroom was a bit tired and the fan above the shower needed cleaning as it was full of dust. We were woken up early by the people upstairs banging on the floor walking around. If I stayed again I would request a room upstairs. Hot chocolate would be a great alternative to coffee and tea in rooms all hotels i have stayed in have had this option but not here.

The staff were all very friendly professional and attentive. The food was to a very good quality with fresh vegetables and salad items. There was a small gym, which was clean and provided with free clean towels and water which I appreciated. Overall a really good hotel with great staff at a reasonable cost. I will use this hotel in future as opposed to the one I was using. Thanks all at the Holiday Inn A55 Chester West.

The only negative, and this is partly my fault is the approach to the hotel. As you get close to the hotel, it is not obvious the hotel is there and the junction is a little concealed and signage is not great. I went past on the first occasion as I could only see the M sign for MacDonalds, and then had to navigate the A55 back. Better Hotel signage would have been great.

Super friendly and helpful staff.

The shower was a bit useless, and the weird plug contraption in the bath was a nightmare. The shower curtain didnt actually cover the area so all the water spray went straight to the floor. . Heating was ridiculous. Woke at 3am and thought the building was on fire. Turned the heating off and the fan wouldn't work so spent the night in a sauna. The room was well presented and comfortable, but due to the heating issue, i ended up on the floor trying to cool off. 🤣

We booked for as a family group of 10 with two people in the group with specific requirements due to their limited mobility, hotel staff promptly contacted via messaging and confirmed our rooms with special requests. Rooms were clean and comfortable, each room was equipped with all facilities to make your stay comfortable, each family room had a fridge and an iron. Very good variety of breakfast, also facilitates vegan meals. Staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. No complaints whatsoever.

Great hotel, we stay here 3 times a year. Room was clean and fresh, beds very comfy. All Staff just amazing and friendly, especially want to mention Gabriella from the restaurant,she is amazing, we had a dinner there 2 evenings, thank you for your hospitality we really was feeling welcomed. We had really good stay and Definitely will be back soon.

We had to wait for about 5 min each time for warm water from the tap in bathroom.

The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was nice and the restaurant staff were very friendly.

I found the male receptionist unprofessional as he kept us waiting for quite a while at check in as he reclined back in his chair chatting on the phone as I was being accosted by a homeless man that had been put up in the hotel by the council. I have encountered this male receptionist twice and he never smiles or appears to be friendly.

Very clean and comfortable. Good facilities. Great food. Plenty of parking space. But what made it special was that all of the staff (from reception to room service) were all very friendly, helpful and attentive and couldn't do enough for you (so 20 out of 10 for ALL the staff). I extended my stay by another night from 2 to 3 nights.

Maybe a bigger TV on the wall (Flat Screen) - well, that's a man for you 😉.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful. I'm not especially demanding but nothing was too much trouble for anyone including the night porter! Food was good, service excellent. Beds/pillows very comfortable.

My room was very cold but reception told me the reason why and offered a room change which I declined (as I'd already made a 'mess'!) so they gave me a portable radiator and the problem was solved. 🙂

Our stay was very good , we needed a stopover hotel , we found this one , for convenience and was ideal, on the main road. McDonald’s , Starbucks , petrol all near. A very efficient hotel, and the room was very clean and comfortable, the restaurant was basic and the food was good. The staff here were excellent, friendly and efficient.
