This is a quiet area in a cute small town. This is an older motel but kept up very well by the owners. The bathrooms have been renovated. The beds we’re comfortable also. The owners take good care of their guests and are knowledgeable about the area if you need help with anything. Seriously, don’t let the photos fool you into thinking this is a ran down place, it’s very well taken care of and a safe place to stay!

Not much to NOT like! This is in a small town so not very much in the area to eat but what is available is really great options! This is also about 25 minutes from Dreams Park if you’re staying for Baseball Tournaments. That’s what we came for, which wasn’t a horrible drive to and from just a heads up for those who are looking!

We did not join you for breakfast as we were to attend a family brunch. Location was perfect as it was close to the venue where our relative got married/reception. Even though you are close to Rt. 20 it was quiet. We really appreciated your assigning us the handicapped room when it became available. One of us needs to use a walker to get around and the room was spacious enough to do that safely, with ease. We were pleased you had four rooms available to accommodate our family group. Convenient, safe, comfortable and very neat/ clean! Well done! Thank you!

This place was perfect for us for our two night stay. It was in a great location for us. It's in a quiet, old town. It's nothing really special looking on the outside, but I had trusted the reviews on Booking, and I'm glad I did. The lady at check in was very nice, and said hello anytime I saw her on the property. But we were left alone other than that. The room was good size and clean. Having a microwave and fridge is very nice. It was nice and quiet at night, and I slept well. They left us 3 bottles of complimentary water, which is a first for me, and I travel around a lot. Oh and the price...can't forget that! For the price, this motel is a great value!

There's not really anything that I was disappointed with. The rooms and bed were clean. The bed was decently comfortable. It takes a bit of time for the water to heat up. But oh well, a couple of minutes later, you have a nice hot shower with good pressure. I would stay here again when we're in the area.

The Village Motel is clean and quiet and had rooms during the summer period when rooms closer to my worksite in Cooperstown (about 20 mins away) were expensive and in short supply. It appears to be a classic American "Mom and Pop" operation with both on site. It's not the Ritz, but I slept well and was awakened by the birds in the meadow behind my room in the morning. The morning drive to Cooperstown is beautiful and pastoral.

The village of Richfield Springs is a bit of a food dessert after 4 or 5 pm, not too many places for a traveler to eat if you work past 6, so plan to eat elsewhere. If you're desperate, there's one Chinese take-out place within walking distance on the main drag where, humorously, it seems you have to order food by item number and no menu changes are permitted. I got a giant vat of tofu in brown sauce which I ate back at my room out of the hotel Dixie cup. They do have chopsticks but you have to request them. There is also a bar, but I didn't go in it, and a pizza place of uncertain hours.

Our room was clean and spacious. Parking very easy and convenient. Nancy absolutely fabulous! Anything we needed she was there. Check in quick and easy. We truly did like our stay there.

We traveled for baseball (Cooperstown), it was a bit of a drive probably 30 minutes out. The beds were not comfortable - would be my main con. We did book a few months in advance for our trip and were a little bummed that the price substantially dropped a week prior to our leaving.

Very clean and quiet place! The staff was amazing asking if we needed anything everyday we were there. My son was playing baseball at the Cooperstown Allstar village and this is where my wife and I stayed. It’s about a 42 minute drive to the Cooperstown Allstar village but didn’t mind the beautiful drive everyday.

The Village Motel doesn't look like much from the road, but our room was new and clean and excellent in every way. The room (11) was three times the size of the other rooms, with two comfortable beds, plenty of light and electrical outlets, a full-size refrigerator/freezer, dining table, drawers and shelves and a closet. There was free WiFi. Parking was easy. The bathroom was large and modern and the shower was great. We'll stay here again.

The room has a coffee maker, but I had to ask for coffee the night before.

Don't be fooled by the plain exterior. It isn't fancy, but I was surprised by how nice it was. Bathroom looked to be recently redone, and everything was very clean. I would definitely stay again!

A little continental type breakfast would have been great!

Reasonable price, clean, close to restaurants. Nothing fancy, but absolutely fine.

People arrived next door around midnight and we could hear them talking loudly. Turned on fan to block them out.
