The indoor pool was big reason for booking. It was great. Loved that second room had a walk through to the adjacent accessible room, as 4 of the 5 guests needed to use the walk in shower. The staff both behind the desk and housekeeping were very helpful in responding to request for more towels and toilet paper.

The doors to the room and the walk through doors were very heavy and the people with disabilities were not able to open the doors without help. There was a button (like a door bell) next to door for accessible room entrance, but it did not assist in opening the very heavy room door. Was surprised that the handicapped accessible room was on 3rd floor, as elevator signs reminded us NOT TO USE ELEVATORS IN CASE OF FIRE--yet there would be no other way for someone in wheelchair to get off the 3rd floor in an emergency. Accessible rooms seemingly should be on ground floor.

The room was nice and clean. The staff was really nice, especially the lady that checked us in; she was super cool. It was quiet and got to get good enough sleep. The bed was a little firm but overall good enough for a comfortable nights stay. The location was good too because it was near the thruway and right in Utica.

Maybe try some new plush mattresses. Otherwise it was a pretty nice room.

It was an amazing experience to the city I grew up in, Utica. We loved crossing the street to Delmonicos/ everything was clean. My only note would be that the bedding was hard to get organized, but overall a perfect ten in upstate New York. Very nice personnel too, and charging for e cars like ours!

Main door wouldn’t latch unless I picked up on the handle. Also shower handle fell off in my hand and front desk wanted to move me to a different room at 10:00 PM. I then went out to my truck in 7 degrees snow, got my tools, came back in and fixed the faucet for myself and others.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was ample. The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of towels, thank you. Complimentary water. Free parking, free internet.

The flooring was very slick, off the carpeting.

We chose Hampton Inn because abuse of its location in Utica. Wanted to use it as an over nite stay on the way to Cooperstown.

The facilities were clean and updated except for the bathroom which still had a bathtub in it and just looked somewhat old compared to the rest. Needed to be refreshed

Please please please...use salt when cooking the oatmeal for breakfast!!!! It is meant to be used. Not only was it flavorless, it had gone down into a dry glop...and it wasn't even 9:00. The pastries were cheap.

Nothing they couldn’t have done anything better. I was very happy and content. I love staying at the Hampton Inn.

It was a very good location for our stop over on our road trip to the East Coast. It was close to the expressway we were traveling on our way to the East Coast.

1)Could not check in early or have a room reserved for me - we arrived 1.5 hrs before check-in. We had to change for our event in public restroom in lobby (only one was open) We checked in later at 5:45 after our event, but with incident (see below). 2) Front desk receptionist at 5:45 seemed to have a bias because I used booking.com. told me she couldn’t find my reservation but I had confirmed earlier. They then gave me a handicapped room, which I did not reserve, but she insisted I did because I used booking.com. Had to argue to get what I reserved. very rude.
