The room was clean. Plenty of space in the bathroom. The shower is very nice. The older woman working on the breakfast is EXTREMELY friendly. The breakfast was very good.

Young, heavier set woman who was at the front desk EARLY (roughly 6:15)on Sunday, June 30 has no personality. (She was also helping with the breakfast prior to that. My Wife went to ask for a couple of waters. My Wife said "Good Morning" to her & was just stared at. The woman, after being asked for the waters, simply said "how many?". Handed them to my Wife without another word. She should be kept away from any public contact. Another woman was at the desk when we departed at approximately 6:40 & she was VERY friendly. The bed was not comfortable at all for me. (Too hard.) That is a preference thing more than anything.

The hotel is the sort of place you'd hope to find after a long day's drive — very clean, comfortable, dark at night and quiet. No spectacular views on either side. The room we were assigned looked out onto an empty car park and a garbage bin, so we were glad that the staff member on the registration desk was able to find another room on the other side, which at least looked out at some lights and activity. Bathroom had a bath, and all the expected amenities—shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tissues, hair dryer. Fortunately after having spent the last three nights at motels with bathroom lights that turned noisy fans on at the same time as lights, this one did not have a fan. It was New Year's Eve the night we stayed, and we had arrived tired and hungry. We were hoping to order some take out asian food but discovered that there was nothing open in Utica with decent reviews. We eventually settled on going to the restaurant next to the hotel, Chesterfield's Tavolo, and had a wonderful meal served by very efficient staff, in a very lively and happy atmosphere.

Unfortunately, when we returned from dinner we wanted to watch the new year celebrations around the world on TV, but the television would not turn on. We reported this to the desk, but although they said that they were aware of the issue, they were unable to help. This was disappointing, and made the night slightly less wonderful than it had been so far. Breakfast was fair — omelettes with tomato onion filling, sausage patties, bacon, mini cheeseburgers. waffles and syrup. oatmeal, raisin bran, some other cereals. various nuts and seeds and some dried fruit to add. fresh banana, whole pears and apples. wheat and white bread for toasting, with various spreads. bagels of various sorts. folgers coffee, 2%, whole milk and half and half, and eggnog. cold boiled eggs, yoghurt and small milks.

Great friendly staff. Clean facility. Good breakfast.

The walk from the elevator to the handicapped room was a long ways, I wondered why it wasn't closer?

Breakfast was good they refilled everything quickly the location of the hotel is good it’s easy to find the staff is very friendly

More towels in the pool area

Nice area for walking. We used the patio area for socialization and found it cozy. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. They offered routes for walking and Restaurant.

We liked the location of the hotel. It's right at the trailhead for the Erie Canal and we were able to bike from the hotel to the trail. It's also close to SUNY POLYTECHNIC where our son attends which was the point of our trip. The staff of the hotel were all friendly and very accommodating.

The walls were pretty thin and there was loud music almost until midnight. We didn't complain to the front desk because we weren't sure where it was coming from.

easy check in, slept well

I found a detached drain pipe underneath the bathroom sink. it was simply there as though someone replaced it with a newer one, but forgot to remove the older one.

Very nice room and comfortable bed. Really great step in shower with great water flow.

Desk person did not appear to be interested in helping me. Never told me about breakfast or facilities. Was not impressed.

friendliest front desk staff I’ve probably ever had good location clean and warm-ish pool super comfortable room great beds, soft sheets and nice pillows. breakfast was decent
