The newly renovated rooms were very nice. They were very spacious and comfortable for our needs. Two things partially stood out; the breakfast and the staff. Obviously the staff being the best experience. They went above and beyond our needs. We were traveling for our sons 3rd birthday. They sent a birthday cake to our room!

I really wish they had a hot pool. I know i know its Singapore, but regardless i want to soak in a hot pool after a long day of urban hiking.

Very good breakfast, nice room furniture, excelent location

Dusty room, daily cleaning service was quite poor, no vacuuming, basically they just changed thw towels, made the beds and pick up the garbage. Bed pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable.

High floor view, friendly atmosphere

During check in, it would be wonderful if the receptionist have automatically mention the outcome of my requests. I have to mention my high floor request else it may have to be changed if i was given a low floor. Then i have to ask for my late checkout request. Lastly, my 3rd request for extra 2 bath towels was not fulfilled when i entered the room. I have to call housekeeping to get them.

The 2-bedroom unit is very spacious & comfortable. Love the long workspace in both rooms. Master bedroom is big - kids managed to pitch a 2 person tent during our stay. Both bathrooms have ample open shelves & counter top space. Shower stalls are huge; but water pressure is low & shower heads not adjustable. Beds are of good size & mattress nice & firm. Lighting throughout the unit is bright. There are switches for you to select areas u wish to light up. I like that. Bedside tables & wardrobe space is generous. Living room: the L-shaped sofa is firm & comfortable. Good place for all of us to chill. The coffee table has a desk height. We brought out the long bench from the bedroom & had game sessions. Kids also did craft & colouring here. A spacious console by the wall provided a good place to put our odds & ends. Dining area - we can sit down comfortably to enjoy our tabao food from the neighbouring eateries, hawker centres & supermarket. Kitchen: There is a big fridge & lots of necessary kitchen stuff. And best of all, a washing machine! Quick wash choice of 15 or 40min. But the dryer function is hopeless. Got 3 TVs in this unit. Staff throughout the hotel have very cheerful work attitude - probably reflecting a good work environment. Shoutout to Sean Poon & Elin Chung at the breakfast venue, Idil & the gentleman at the entrance for being so helpful, and Carol who took care of our rooms. Housekeeping was very prompt & efficient responding to our requests. Thank you, Amara, for a memorable stay. Hope to be back.

Pool cleanliness.

The Amara hotel is in a beautiful and central location within the city. Tanjong Pagar is a beauitful street and the Amara is close to two MRT stations (one 4 mins away and one 10 mins away) making it easy to explore the city in different directions. The Amara staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous and clean - you can clearly tell they've just been renovated. Loved the pool and the gym (while small) had the essentials for our 4 nights in Singapore. The hotel is peaceful and the rooms are very comfortable.

The breakfast was good and had many options but perhaps a little bit more variety every now and again. But still really good.

Everything was perfect, food, staff, cleanliness. Is across fom MRT that runs to airport.

Newly renovated modern spacious room.

The property was good. We did have an issue on checkout. We booked through Bookings.Com . At the time we did have an issue re booking ,re the price advertised changed after confirming booking. We were told by Bookings help line that Bookings had no control over other charges the hotels charge. On looking at the fine print prior to booking we noted that all tax’s and others were included. A deposit of s$100 would be charged but fully refunded if no damage to room. The hotel on checkout had no knowledge of this charge and said it’s not our policy and we would have to refer it to the people who we booked through . Although we sorted it out with Bookings it was an unnecessary concern.

Hotel is next to 100am mall which is convenient with a variety of restaurants, bakeries, cafes and less than 5 minutes walk to Tanjong Pagar train station. Staff is prompt when answering call, taking orders for room dining - efficient service in serving and collecting back tray. Food is tasty and well prepared. For central business location, it is affordable priced, spacious room that is bright, with new modern interiors. There is separate toilet and bathroom and room is clean, well maintained, amenities replenished

reception check in can be improved - long queue formed during 12pm check out and 3pm check in as there were only 2 counters available mismatched selection of bed via booking.com - I was offered twin room for 2 single bed or 1 large/king bed and I selected 1 large bed, but when i arrived, reception claimed it was twin room with 2 beds and this happened on 2 occasions The room have poor soundproofing - I can hear footsteps and conversations along the corridor, outside my 13th room door which is locked When day blinds are drawn, anyone walking along the corridor across my room on the same floor can see me on my sofa, which I find invasive as I am now unable to enjoy the high floor vie

The room is modern and clean with a separate wet room with shower and bathtub, and a separate toilet. Sink and vanity mirror with lights are also separated in the room close to the door. Therefore, a very practical arrangement and not waiting for one or the other to use a typical one bathroom arrangement. Bed very comfortable and cosy. Nice big Tab screen presented directly in front of the bed for TV and Netflix views. Breakfast selection is fantastic with items for all tastes and cultures. Staff are very helpful and courteous and try to please and do favours without hesitation.

All was good, but the club lounge person was alone and constantly busy and I suggest to totally fill the drinks before the cocktail hour starts since some customers were complaining there wasn’t enough beer or drinks. The lounge staff lady was very professional and handled the situation well.

The space was immaculate. We could feel it's well taken care of and the atmosphere felt like home. It's all open with a good amount of sunlight during the day. And the lighting makes it cosy at night. Very suitable for work as well. The shower separate from toilet is a big plus and the shower feels fantastic. There's also a faucet in the room with filtered drinkable water. One of the best modern rooms I've ever stayed in!

The breakfast had very wide range of choice but we felt the quality of the products was a bit poor. The view from the window wasn't that special.
