Central downtown location, convenient to Oberlin college and walking distance to shops. Clean and quiet room, with high ceilings and a charming view. We hung out and had dinner at the bar both nights and enjoyed our bartender, who was really sweet and friendly. The location of the bar, in the open, spacious lobby/ atrium, is really cool, it's a nice space to hang out in.

The breakfast options were a little heavy... like sausage and egg biscuit, bacon and egg biscuit, pastries, etc. I was kind of jonesing for some fresh blueberries or something. (I ended up getting a bacon and egg on a biscuit, which I will vouch for it being pretty tasty! But not that healthy.) If they added a smoked salmon, egg white omelet, or a fresh fruit option to the breakfast menu, that would be awesome.

Lovely lobby and right next door to the admissions office (almost scary....) but it was so convenient since it rained! Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. BIG bonus was the completely AWESOME environmental stuff the hotel has - the cool humidity thermostat that tells you if opening the windows is advised etc etc. It was just fantastic.

Coffee station had fake-milk (creamers) for tea and I prefer real milk (but the bartender was super nice and gave me real milk)

At center of small Oberlin down town. VERY close to the “central park”, the college and the conservatory of music, some restaurants, slow train coffee, etc. Super easy for travelers. Also, the food of the 1833 restaurant is quite good.

The most convenient location. Upscale but not pretentious. Rooms that are clean and bright and so wonderfully environmentally conscious. Bath products scented basil lemongrass (LOVE) and an excellent restaurant. Outstanding, caring staff too.

Initially I was going to book for parents weekend but the rates were sky high.

I did not have a lot of time to explore the amenities, but the room was great. Overall, I was happy with my stay.

The staff was SO great with our dogs! They even gave them treats. The restaurant got us some ice cream when all the shops were closed. Everyone was fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

We ate a breakfast, lunch and a dinner in the restaurant and frankly werea bit disappointed. The chicken-mushroom soup, e.g., was just chicken broth and some mushrooms, a bit misleading. A couple of other items were less filling than expected. Staff is very professional and friendly.

I had expected a quaint, older property in the center of a small college town. Instead, I found a modern hotel and restaurant with all the amenities... and morel

The fact that there are not more hotels like this one .

Clean, great customer service, access to parking. Very spacious comfortable lobby. Great location & nearby square for leisure walking. Environmental perks. Secure and safe
