Everything was fine for such hotel. Location is fine, great view from the room. Despite some negative comments below, I would come back but the hotel owners must be aware of the below dislike points.

bathroom needs some renovation…If I would stay more than 1 night, I would ask for another room without mould and water leak in the bath screen causing unpleasant damage to the wall, window frame was water damaged too. We were at the 1st floor, the view was great, overlooking the lake but the noise from the street wasn’t great, quite noisy through the windows.

A warm & cozy stay. We did the last minute deal to visit Évian in a non-peak season. Turned out everything impressed us. We enjoyed the good food inside the hotel restaurant. The Michigan restaurants, street stall & supermarket were also within a walkable reach.

We paid a little premium to secure a room with balcony. Worth to pay if no free upgrade, haha! Want an adapter with USB port inside the room

The location is ideal, a 9-minute walk from the train station. It is just at the corner of a pedestrian-commercial street. The owner said the hotel re-opened late last summer after being refurbished. The room I had was large, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely street-lake view. The window opens, but when it is closed, the room is very quiet.

There is an issue with the internet connection for some iPhones ( Apple security), but it appears to be an 'area' issue. It happened to me again in a nearby cafe. The owner is aware; he was very helpful, and he is looking for a solution. This applies to some UK, US and Swiss sim cards and iPhone holders. I used my UK service provide instead.

The location was superb, close to the supermarket, shops, restaurants and the lake.

The reception area was very strange. The desk was high up so you couldn’t tell if anyone was at the reception desk or not.

My stay was exceptional! I would return to stay here again. The owner of the hotel and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, very large, and had everything I needed. The location was absolutely perfect, close to everything and walkable. Fantastic views, and lovely restaurant.

I liked everything about this stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The best thing was the Restaurant. Food was of the highest quality. Not the cheapest but worth the price. Would definitely recommend eating there.

Fittings, like bathroom were new and modern, yet you could see the cracks in a wall or old paint job. A little refreshing and it would be 10 out of 10z

The location is great just in the downtown area, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and multilingual. The room was clean and most importantly there is a bidet in the bathroom which is normally not existing in the hotels of France.

Car parking is not available, and it is expensive to park it in the parking of the office of tourism.

Great location. It had a big room and a comfy bed. I liked that you could open the windows. The bathroom was also large and had a bidet. Staff was friendly.

I felt like the floors hadn't really beed cleaned in my room. That was my only complaint.
