La Cloche is a comfortable, well located hotel whose friendly staff go out of their way to help. Rooms are well appointed, but get in early and book a room facing the garden if you can or simply enjoy a glass of wine under the trees in good weather. There's a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops nearby, as well as a basic supermarket.

While staff were happy to provide tea or coffee on request it would have been great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The hotel location was just outside the center of Beaune. Very quaint and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us with luggage and gave us many restaurant recommendations. We walked from the train station to the hotel and easily walked to the center of town where wine tasting, shopping and restaurants were abundant. Breakfast in the hotel was nice, especially if you want to get a quick start in the morning.

Keep luggage to a minimum. There are no elevators in the hotel and many stairs.

There was not much selection at breakfast but it is fine, it was more than enough. I love the location, walking distance to restaurants and attractions and due to its location, we can always go back to the hotel for a short rest and move again. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Lots of parking space.

The parking entrance is a bit small although you can't do snything about it but the metal installed on the ground scratches the wheels.

Perfect location within walking distance of centre of Beaune. Secure parking. Super helpful staff. Room was ok although the only window was velux as it was on the top floor (of 3). No lift. Bathroom had a good pressure shower. But it was over the bath and positioned too high for an average person to reach and had no rail to adjust the height. Good breakfast (apart from rather hard rolls) with proper tea provided.

Shower head could be adjustable. Breakfast was good but I found the rolls rather on the hard side.

Beaune is a gorgeous town,in tne middle of burgundy wine making region,which is evident with all the local vineyards and wine shops in the town. The hotel is well situated with secure parking to peruse the town, lovely helpful staff and a good quality French breakfast with local produce. Highly recommend

Shower was a bit high and could have had a grab handle as shower over the bath,I’ve a balance problem so felt slightly unsafe

Staff attitude was excellent! Ready to help, attentive, would walk the extra mile if required and would attend your request with urgency. The cleanliness and having the option to have breakfasts and book it the night before at 10pm…. Good was good value for money and convenient because not many places open early in the morning.

There’s no fridge in the rooms to keep left overs or take away food. However it didn’t impact much as we asked the staff if they could put it away in one of the kitchen fridges.

The hotel is in a ancient building on a charming square - it is only a short walk from the city centre and the astonishing Hospices de Beaune - restaurants and cafes are everywhere around - the staff pointed us in the direction of an outstanding restaurant only a few door along the street

The age of the building means a lift would have been difficult to install - but that was a fair trade off for staying over night in a bit of local history so close to the centre of a world heritage site

Beautiful area, lovely, traditional hotel with great access to town and its abundant facilities. Great to have parking. Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Parking should be free as part of the stay. Tea and coffee making facilities in room would be nice and breakfast in hotel was off-putting because of the expense. We had a lovely croissant and coffee in town instead for less than half the price. Stair carpet needs some tlc. Otherwise, a comfortable stay in a great location.

Excellent location near town and the train station. The room was lovely, comfy, and big. AC was a plus.

Unfortunately, the doors slamming are quite loud. The guests are to blame for not being polite about closing them softly early in the morning, but it would be great if the hotel added something to slow the door down before shutting to soften the blows.

Pittoresque, cosy and charming little hotel just 3-5 min walking distance from the city village, thus excellent location. Several cafes and restaurants just next door, and more in the city centre. Everything you need is just right there. Free parking lot just in front of the hotel, and if it is full, parking in hotel's own parking lot is just 7 euros.

A very spacious room compared to many other French hotels, but interior a bit dated. Everything worked perfectly though.
