The hotel is a bit outside the center but you can get anywhere quickly by metro. The station is a 10-minute walk away, so that's not a problem. The breakfast is really delicious and there was definitely something for every taste. The fact that it was available quite early was also very good. The beds were adequate and the room was big enough for one person. The internet was stable and there is the option to wash and dry your laundry. The large shopping center nearby no longer exists, although there used to be a Starbucks there. But there is a McDonalds at the metro station and small shops around the hotel where you can buy groceries. Check-in was possible without any problems, and thanks to translation apps there are hardly any language barriers anymore.

You get a lot for your money. Nice bed and bedding, high-tech heated toilet, well-functioning stable heating system and wifi, room nicely cleaned, helpful hotel reception where some can speak english, they can get someone english speaking if needed. Very convenient with breakfast included, some western some chinese things. Nice location near Hongqiao airport and train station. A 7-8 minute walk to the metro station - ShuiCheng road - line 10.

I am very satisfied, but there is always room for improvement. As a westerner, I would appreciate a slice of cheese and some kind of bread other than toast for breakfast. Missing toilet brush. A small fridge in the room would make me willing to pay a little more.

Lots of food outside the hotel, small room but very well design, pleasant & comfortable. A good variety of food for breakfast.. Checking in and out of hotel was efficient & David the Manager speaks fluent English which is helpful for non mandarin speaking like us. After check-out, a young sweet chinese lady at reception ordered an e-hailing taxi for us to Pudong Airport & quickly came out of Hotel when taxi arrived, to give accurate instructions to driver, so efficient! Overall the hotel is good value for money!

This hotel is very well managed and clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is near to many smaller food stalls and thus good if you would like to try them. The facilities in the hotel is quite new. There are also buffet breakfast provided in this hotel, easy for those who like save some trouble. The price is considered quite affordable for Shanghai.

The hotel room is a bit small and the hotel is slightly further from the metro station. However, nothing much to complain for that price.

Its very good located. Has all the stores you nead around. Close to subway, fruit, drinks, my sinagogue. Its modern, clean, has an excellent loundry service. Small place so every worker knows you and understand your needs. Karol speaks English clearly wich is not easy to found in China .

Should have small frigobar and not having window to the street makes feel some close. But it related to the neighborhood wich is city center

Despite the closure of the nearest shopping mall, the local eateries and convenience stores around the hotel were sufficient for us. The 5 - 10 mins walk to the nearest metro station could be too much for some if you have big luggage (uneven footpath). It was raining for the few days we stayed at the hotel and the hotel was kind to lend us umbrellas.

2 types (soft and firm) of pillow were provided but both types were too soft.

Good location - access to transport, a short taxi ride to many of the business hubs, and walking distance to a TON of top-notch eateries. The added perk is direct quick access to both terminals of Hongqiao Airport by Metro Line 10 - the airport is infamous for being difficult to get from by taxi due to grumpy drivers reluctant to provide short rides which aren't worth the long wait at the arrival area. Breakfast is plentiful, rooms are clean, the staff is helpful, and the hotel belongs to a well-established international brand that is foreigner-friendly. Very smooth check-in and check-out process. The hotel isn't really close to any of the historical areas in the City or famous landmarks - but it's a perfect base if you visit Shanghai for business, visiting family or just to chill. The interesting mix of the bustling community housing blocks and some of Shanghai's most affluent neighborhoods nearby, and the food and shopping scene resulting from the mix is the defining character of the city.

Can't really fault the hotel on this but the surrounding area has had a lot of construction activities lately so watch out for noise, dirt, and bad traffic. The rooms themselves are well insulated though, we didn't lose any sleep. The hotel also has a very unassuming front (the inside is much nicer), so depending on the nature of the trip (especially one arranged on behalf of a business), this could be a caveat for some.

The service is exceptional. The location is very convenient, a short walk from the Metro station and several bus lines. I was able to borrow an umbrella from the hotel on rainy days.

The A/C was turned off. Though the temperature is at a comfortable 20 degrees and A/C is not needed, the room feels stuffy without the air flow. The staff brought a fan to help with air circulation - this got rid of the stuffiness.

Clean room and excellent service.

I almost missed the hotel as the building lacks “curb appeal”. The street where it is located is off. The hotel exterior is bad but everything else inside is very good.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a selection of Chinese and Western food, the variety and standard is good. There are many restaurants and food outlets near the hotel, and a subway station within walking distance. Though the room is not very big, it is fully equipped and the bed is comfortable.

The carpet at the lift lobby on my floor is quite dirty, having it clean will give a better image to the hotel.
