The location is deceiving because the front is on a main road but walk through reception and the corridor and you are met with a beautiful infinity pool, landscaped garden and the beach is right there at the end. The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. We found it peaceful and relaxing, the staff were all lovely, polite and welcoming. I read all the reviews before booking and have to say that the bad one's are, in our experience completely unfounded. If you don't have a car then this is probably not for you as restaurants are scarce in the locality, if you do then Ao Nang is not far away where the options are plentiful.

The breakfast is ok but inconsistent, cold fried eggs one day and hot the next, but then again I have never had a decent cooked breakfast in Thailand.

Everything! The hotel is in Ao Nam Mao, 5 is a small place 5 km away from the more cibrant Ao Nang Town. The hotel is close to the supermarket, 5 mins walking, restaurants nearby also. I had a sea view room at the first floor, amazing view. The room is big and very comfortable. The best thing about the hotel, though, is the people. Natalie was an amazing host, she helped with airport transfers and trip reservations, she was eztremely accommodating and caring. I felt like home, among friends. Fas, the young lady at the reception was friendly and very helpful. The housekeeing always smiling and keeping the place in a perfectly clean state I was sorry to leave this place after 8 nights and do hope to go back very soon Thank you so much for all the friendship care and help during my stay.

I loved that it was located on the beach, although you couldn’t access the stairs to the beach. The view from the infinity pool was excellent. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Nut (the manager). I upgraded my room, and I’m so glad I did! My room had a little patio in front of the pool, and I could hear the water trickling. I sat in one of the comfortable chairs while sipping my tea in the mornings and looked towards the sea. So very relaxing!

While it was close to Ao Nam Mao pier, it was far from town and the variety of stores, restaurants and, and massage salons.

Clean, bright room with a large comfortable bed and a balcony right next to the pool, with the beach directly behind. I'd recommend this room as it was quiet and had a nice view. The staff and owner were all so friendly, helpful and kind. We were offered good prices on day trips to the islands etc. with pickup from the hotel. The hotel is located away from the main tourist areas and sandier beaches, but the pier for boats to Railay (100 baht) is just a short walk away and we enjoyed the less touristy location. It is also well located for convenience stores, ATMs, restaurants and a beach cafe with live music and massages. It's lovely to just relax in the grounds and enjoy the pool too!

Nothing! But location may not suit everyone

Absolutely loved this place. It was so much nicer than I expected. The rooms are huge and beds are soo comfortable! I was sick so it was the perfect place to rest up as it was nice and quiet. Less than a 10 minute walk from the pier so it's easy to get to. A store right across the road and a restaurant too if you want to stay near by. Hot showers and free shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You get free water, tea and coffee and the room has everything you need. The pool was so clean and always quiet. Nice to have breakfast option available. Staff so lovely and helpful. They offer to clean your room daily and provide more water for you. Laundry service was great :)

The AC wasn't very strong but it did the job :)

I enjoyed everything about the cute little boutique resort. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and my view was amazing. For me the location was perfect. During low tide I could walk the beach to the nearby restaurants. There was no hustle and bustle of being "at the beach and fighting the crowds"

The location is on a strip of beach that is tidal. You are not going to go to this beach for laying out on the sand. I loved this however it must be noted.

The location was easy to find if a little outside of the main town. The rooms were spacious and looked modern. The breakfast was good. The night we arrived, there was no electricity for 6 hours due to a broken line (someone cut a tree down and it landed on the power cables) The owner was most apologetic and gave us breakfast for free. This was the only downside but nothing the owner could do. We definitely would stay here again if we go to Krabi

More places to sit outside. When we arrived there was a team of men cutting down trees. As the resort is small, this limited where we could sit. The hotel has 4 sunbeds which is fine for the size of the hotel but we were unable to sit on them

Nice view from the pool area, big comfy bed, Ao Naom Mao pier is close from where you can take a boat to Railay, Ao Nam Mao center is also close where is several places to eat, 7 eleven shop, ATMs. Ao Nam Mao beach has couple of bars, Joy bar was the best with Fire show and live band. This area is perfect if you do not want to be crowded tourist area

Hotel pool area has only 4 sunbeds

Pro: Great hotel with an amazing pool just in front of the sea, room with fantastic view and amazing breakfast. Location is next to Aonammao harbour where is possible to grab a long tail boat to Railey.

Cons: not near Ao Nang, you have to get a taxi or rent a scooter. We had a problem in our room, water was dripping from barroom ceiling (probably a pipe was broken), it wasn’t possible to change the room the exact day. The problem was somehow fixed; we would have like some discount since we didn’t change the room (such as offering minibar consumption since we had to pay our room on arrival), but that didn’t happens unfortunately.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome and they were very accommodating. The location is good if you want to avoid a busy tourist area and its quiet in the evening so you can get a good sleep. The beach is beautiful for walking. There was a scooter rental shop next door and we rented 2 scooters for the time we were there which enabled us to explore the area by ourselves.

The only thing I didn't like was the day I had to leave. I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area.
