It’s a small family-run hotel in the Alps and it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has a warm and comfy vibe, and everything was super clean. The staff was so friendly and made us feel right at home. I would like to specially thank Barbara, who was incredibly kind and made a delicious dinner for me and my kids when we got there late at night and kitchen wasn’t already working. It made us feel so happy and thankful. The breakfast was authentic with local products and very delicious.

Nice ambiance, spacious room, great food and warm welcome from a friendly team and owners. For us as a family the location was ideal just 7 minutes drive from the ski slopes. Would recommend to take half board 100%.

Great size of the room, beautiful decor of the house, hospitality, the owners and staff very professional and super friendly. On top of that, one of the best dinners we ever had in Austria.

The breakfast was lovely. A lot of choice, fresh produce. Eggs made on demand. The staff and service are excellent. A good dinner (made from scratch) with some nice wines. This is a really a family hotel with good food were you feel at home!

We were travelling through Austria and needed a room for a night. Great place with very friendly and welcoming owners. The rooms were spacious and the bed big and comfy. Also don't miss out on the dinner in their restaurant. Highly recommended!

Der Thomataler Wirt is a charming place located in the small Austrian village of Thomatal. Everything was charming and authentic, the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are large, clean and warm. There is a possibility of dinner as well. Large parking area in proximity. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely come back again.
