A beautiful Pazo in rural Galicia, it is a wonderful place for a retreat and to connect with nature. The way in which the building has been lovingly restored, respectful of its history, but to a high standard, makes it a place of comfort. Rosario and the staff make it a place of welcome too. Luxurious while being unpretentious, it is a place of great comfort and peace. The dinner was excellent, with local produce and a well chosen house wine. All served before a roaring fire in the dining hall of the manor house.

We stopped on our walk on the Camino del Norte. This place is INCREDIBLE!! Honestly one of the sweetest most charming and comfortable places I’ve stayed in the world — definitely the best hotel I’ve been to in Spain! My daughter asked to have her wedding here. And it was affordable for the level of service and the wonderful accommodations. We are in love with this sweet spot. It’s fabulous in all the ways!! Also it’s obviously a labor of love. The couple that owns the place are generous and attentive. We were so happy and wanted to stay for days!

Unbelievable, palatial property. We had the chance to speak with the owner, who has done extensive renovation and restoration to bring this place back from near-collapse. The beds were huge and comfortable, the towels fluffy, the windows opened onto a gorgeous view of the countryside, and it was completely silent. Although we learned the next day a huge party (including kids) were staying beneath us, we didn’t hear them at all — makes sense, the old stone walls are about 1.5m thick! Gorgeous place.

Old Spanish manor recently restored beautifully and in impeccable taste. Our hosts were a wonderful couple Alma and José who interact with guests with warmth and flair. The property has its own restored old chapel for mediation, spacious rooms and breakout spaces on every level for chilling and reading and lovely grounds outside to take in the ambience with the sound of the spring flowing through the fountain and garden to the pool. All the little things thought of : colour, light, ventilation, comfortable beds, sumptuous towels

The two single beds would be nicer if properly connected when double is requested

Definitive the most beautiful hotel I stayed in during my entire 3 weeks long Camino even I haven seen over 20 other hotels. I learned about the history of the place (the hotel manager gave me a tour around the whole place) but mainly I absolutely love when an old historical building is as greatly and gently renovated as this hotel. I am a fan of good architecture and this place fits these days hotel's needs and combining 21st architecture features and technology with historical beauty of the place. Also need to mention the gorgeous garden with amazing views where I drank delicious Spanish wine in the evening during my stay. Everything was absolutely perfect. This place was literally worth all my money but it was quite cheap. HUGELY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Nothing, everything was perfect

An old historical pazo that transform into a beautiful place. We are on camino and made stop here, from the moment we entered, we met Jose (the soul of the house in our opinion) he took a good care of us amazingly. The attention, the friendliness, and very professional at the same time. They did amazing job for the house, we look to the album how they start to establish and it’s impressive work they’ve been done. The room is a truly definition of comfort, mattress is great quality, room is clean and everything in well condition. Bright, clean, all what you can ask for an accommodation room. They provide meals (dinner and breakfast) which both are excellent. In general, we could say it is the best stop in our whole camino trip so far. And we love the dog (Kaisar) ❤️ Thank you to Jose and the whole team!!! Well done!!

We loved staying at the Hotel Pazo de Bieite. Enjoyed the serene nature environment and appreciated every detail of the room, foods, services, people and a surprise little church! We had a restful time for healing our mind and body. We hope to come back again. Thank you very much for your warm and kind support throughout our stay. With respect, from USA friends.

We couldn't stay more than one night.

This is a beautiful old estate that has been impeccably renovated to hotel, complete with its own chapel. The rooms were very well appointed and the grounds are gorgeous. They provide breakfast and you can have dinner for extra charge. I was hiking Camino de Santiago, it’s off the path but well worth the taxi drive. If I had an extra day for rest this is the perfect place to stay!

This hotel could be a destination in itself. It’s a former 17th century villa that has been exquisitely renovated. It has been furnished with antiques and modern pieces blended perfectly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner which included lamb raised on the Pazo’s own grounds. The staff were professional and welcoming; they called me twice the day of my arrival to verify my arrival time and to make sure I had good directions. They also arranged for my laundry to be done and for me to have a massage.

Stunning and peaceful location - a beautifully restored house with welcoming staff and simple, luxurious rooms.

A few horse flies - can't be avoided in rural areas - so remember repellant or long sleeves. Absolutely not a criticism but worth noting the pool edge is high and stone so less suitable for young children swimming (to grab on to)
