Orange juice was hot. Had to wait for breakfast food one day. Why do they charge $25 for early check in. One very small bar of soap and one small shampoo in the room. No conditioner, no lotion. Not nearly enough for a 3 day stay. I was behind a young couple I heard them charge $166, I checked my app and could have got a room for $129. Makes me wonder how much I got ripped off.

I had problems with my room key. It got me into the hotel but not my room. I had to go to the front desk 3 times. The staff did not apologize for my inconvenience.

I did not like that they put a $175 security deposit on your card. The person checking us in said it was mainly because they are a smoke free facility. I think that is a little outrageous especially when the hallways smelled like smoke of the illegal kind

I saw recent reviews and was a little put off due to them but I have no idea what people were complaining about. We thought this place was great! Staff was super nice, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Yes the hotel is outdated because it's older, but I thought that added charm and comfort to the place. People complain about lack of breakfast foods but it ends at 9, so if your getting up at 8:30 what do you expect? Lol. Price was decent too for the ATL area. Also pet friendly! We had a hard time finding a hotel that allowed our cats, as most I guess only allow dogs but this wasn't an issue with La quinta, very accommodating, Highly recommend staying here!

Only thing I could complain about is I agree with the other reviews that the air system in the hotel room was weird. Kinda half worked, felt very warm at times and very cold at times.

Very nice, very clean hotel within just a few minutes of The Battery. The room was spacious. I really like the layout. Much different from most hotels. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area looked very nice. The lobby was extremely welcoming. There were many choices available for breakfast. Apparently they also offer shuttle service to and from The Battery. I would highly recommend this location.

My only complaints were maintenance issues that took a point off. First, the sink desperately needed Draino or something similar. It took several minutes to drain after using the sink in any way. I mentioned this to the front desk upon leaving and they assured me it would be taken care of. The second is that the brackets holding the shower curtain need to be tightened. They have loosened over time causing the shower rod to droop, which in turn keeps the curtain from remaining closed.

I loved the room layout -- the foyer was spacious and had an uncommon shape, which was unexpected. The room was bright, and spacious and had a great color scheme. I loved the long wall-to-wall working surface and the large bench at the foot of the bed was nice. Additionally, the window shade was unexpected and beautiful as well as functional. The staff was professional, diligent, and helpful.

A pair of panties and a bra from a previous guest were left on the hook behind the bathroom door. Also, I did not like that there was no shower curtain in the shower and water spilled onto the floor. We had to use one of the two towels to get it up.

The breakfast was okay. I enjoyed everything else and it wasn’t far from where we were going. The beds were comfortable. They had a vending machine with warm food which I’ve never seen before which was pretty cool I had the chocolate lava cake thing it was delicious and wasn’t stale at all. All staff were friendly and would probably stay again if I were to go to Atlanta again.

Could have cleaned showers a little better just had a bit of bacteria build up aka pink mold not actual mold but could easily be cleaned

Tony was VERY helpful. The system was acting up at check in but once I was given an open room and working key card, everything was fine! The hotel is clean, and the King room is plenty big enough; the bed is firm but I thought it was comfortable. Breakfast is basic but there are plenty of options - eggs, meat, bread/muffins, cereal, & waffle and coffee stations. I read a number of reviews, many of which detailed an experience similar to mine. Those with negative comments shouldn't dissuade you from choosing to stay at this location - nothing always goes as planned but if you have realistic expectations and a good attitude about what might not, you should be just fine!

Very very nice hotel. Everything from the hotel lobby to the room itself was inviting. All employees we encountered were very friendly. The room was spacious and well laid out. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. That's something that so many hotels neglect. The bathroom was large. Great water pressure in the shower. There appeared to be food options but we did not partake. We will absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Not much to dislike. It would be nice to see some charging ports available for our phones, which is fairly commonplace. Also it looks like the shower curtain is ready to be replaced. Oh and why don't most hotels have fans in the bathrooms these days??? All these are very small complaints. This is a great hotel.
