This was an amazing boutique hotel. The staff go above and beyond. We would arrive back from a day out, or after my husband had been to the gym, and they would produce cold flannels and iced tea. Also daily little treats when we arrived back to our room in the evening. Wonderful! We were very impressed with the courtesy bus offered daily into town. In the evening they would drop us at our restaurant of choice and pick us up later, all free of charge. Amazing. The breakfast was a la carte with a great choice. Lovely pool area. The hotel was in a quiet spot, so all very peaceful. We arrived by train and arranged for the hotel to pick us up, we also used their service back to the airport when we were leaving. They also offer free bikes which we used when setting off at 5 am to participate in the monks alms giving.

The photos don’t do this place justice. This place was absolutely incredible. The furnishings are beautiful and the vibe is very peaceful. We appreciated the early check in. The staff went above and beyond, bringing cold towelettes to the pool side, complementary ice teas and daily room refreshing. Each day in the late afternoon/ early evening they bought complimentary sweet treats to the room. The shower was brand new, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash all smelt amazing. The greenery around the whole place was lovely. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning and the gym was clean and larger than the photos. There were bicycles free to use to get around which made getting around easy. We were happy to walk to centre of town (about 15 mins) but they also had van free transfers which we were very grateful for. We will be telling all our family and friends about this place and we will be returning if we are ever lucky enough to come back to luang prabang.

Le Sen is an oasis slightly remote from the Citycentre, where you can relax and draw power. They have a shuttle to the Citycentre, but it is even possible to walk, which we did one day. Everything is clean and designed with love to the detail. The breakfast is outstanding, you can order à la carte and can have international dishes as well as Laotian dishes. There’s a small pool, not for real training if you’re a sporty swimmer, but big enough to take some turns and and swim in it. I would definitely return there.

If you like to be “in the middle of it”, then Le Sen might not the right place, but remember the shuttle and the walking distance of less than 2 km.

Beautiful little hotel that is very well kept and very clean. Super friendly and helpful staff - on our last day they even dropped us off for free at a nearby pick up station for our train. Amazing breakfast! The best we have had in any Asian country - yummy avocado toast and iced lattes. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Shame about the building noise but I know this cannot be helped. We didn’t use the pool but it was busy and seemed well kept. A little bit out from the hustle and bustle of Luang Prabang but we knew this and did not mind the 30 minute walk into this area. A little expensive for Laos but again we did not mind this due to the lovely hotel. Would recommend to all! ☺️

Lovely hidden boutique hotel. Center piece was the beautiful pool. The dining room area beyond the pool was a small open air enclosure yet spacious enough for privacy for several tables. Food was great and well presented. We ate here 3 times plus of course a great full breakfast. Our room was clean with nice size balcony in a canopy of trees. Free shuttle to town center was also great to have. Highly recommend to anyone.

About 1to 2 KM from town center but the free shuttle was perfect for evenings and we used the free bikes for during the daytimes.

This is a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful and attentive staff who not only dealt with guests well but stayed busy cleaning, tidying and tending all the hotel areas. Lovely pool, big and comfortable bed and even an organic fruit and veg garden which supplies the restaurant. We really enjoyed the breakfast AND our unexpected room upgrade. The free shuttle to the touristy bit of Luang Prabang was useful but we actually liked being a bit away from the centre with more local shops and cafes. We'd choose that area again. Big thanks to Ben for his help with transfers and train tickets.

We stayed in the Executive Suite which was extremely well decorated with 2 rooms, a large tub, and a double shower and two bathrooms. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and gourmet with many options including some unique western items such as peanut butter and bananas on toast, overnight oats with chia seeds, and avocado toast. We enjoyed taking the bikes on a rides through the historic district. While we were there it was too cold to swim but the pool looks inviting.

Location may be too isolated for some on the southern edge of town-- requires over a 20-25 minute walk to historic district although they do offer a shuttle service

Le Sen is a delightful boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good. Our room was very comfortable. The bed was huge and the pillows perfect. The shuttle to the French quarter was very useful. It’s an easy walk but can be a hot walk so the air conditioned mini bus was great. They seamlessly arranged transports for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel

It is a shaft walk to the historic part but that meant there was space for a pool. That is always welcome at the end of the day sightseeing

Our 4th week of travelling in Asia and the best hospitality so far. Fantastic room with large balcony overlooking pool. Excellent food and shuttle bus an added bonus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Vard was especially helpful in arranging early morning monk thanks giving ensuring we were able to fully participate. Aldo’s very helpful with other arrangements.
