The breakfast was good and hearty. It was in a good location close to a good beach and within walking distance of many things. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good A/C and hot water. Staff were very nice and pleasant.

It’s not about what I didn’t like, it’s more about Google maps and driving to that area. If you drive your own car there, be warned it gets very congested back there and parking can be a little complicated. Google maps is not accurate to the driving directions, and considering the condition of some of the roads, it can be confusing. But if you’re being driven, which I recommend, than no problem. You won’t be disappointed.

The accommodation is located on the beachfront. Beach loungers are available under umbrellas on the beach. The room and bathroom were clean. A fridge, kettle, tea and coffee facility and a lockable safe in the room. The reception, cleaning and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient and enjoyable.

There were no other hotel lounge areas available to guests except for day time lounging on the beach. WiFi was quite slow and wasn't always connected - area on the beach loungers didn't have WiFi coverage. I'd suggest purchasing a SIM card at the airport on arrival pre-loaded with data.

Fabulous location on Kendwa beach, with beach chairs & umbrellas, and a decent restaurant so you can sit out there all day if you just want to chill! The staff very friendly. This is a more budget friendly hotel in Kendwa which is right on the beach. So you get what you pay for! It was perfect for me.

No shower mats or curtains, so the bathroom got wet. But again, this is a more budget hotel so if you’re expecting luxury and some more feature comforts, you need to up for price range.

Kendwa beach is very nice and the hotel is located directly at the beach near Kendwa Rocks. Good restaurants are nearby. As there is no swimming area, everybody must swim between the boats, which come close and also directly to the beach. This is quite dangerous.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. But be aware of the receptionist, who is always looking for chances to gain some extra profit. When she is calling a taxi etc. she wants that you pay the price to her instead to the driver directly. She even tries to interfere when you are negotiating prices with the drivers. The rooms in the main house are spacy and have a balcony. First they wanted to give us a room with terrace on the ground floor, but the view is directly to a wall and a path, where everybody is passing by. In my opinion these rooms are overpriced. We asked for another room and they gave us a room in the main house with a nice view. This room was nice.

Very great place. It's clean and great standard compared to price. Great location and kind staff. If the rooms had WiFi connection or TV it would be one star up :D Basic, but very good breakfast with a lot of fruits and fresh juice.

How your room were cleaned depends on your tip, without tip it was very basic. Food could be a little bit better.

Great accommodation located directly on the beach, and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! At the reception, they have a brochure with activities. The girls at the reception helped me with booking the activities (for example the snorkeling tour to Tumbatu Island), and security guard Atraxh took me to the place from where the activities started. I stayed on the ground floor; the rooms are clean, spacious, and have AC. The bed was comfy and the food at the restaurant was very tasty. At the beachfront, there is a special area designated for swimmers. Also, I did some shopping at Ikea, here, which is the hotel's souvenir shop. Would stay here again in the future!

Everything was great. The WiFi did not always work in the room, but it did at the reception (and if you travel alone, it is always nice to have a chat with someone).

The location is great. Rooms are clean and well decorated. People in Tanzanya are very kind and friendly. So the girl at the reception, five star! Speaking of the people, Its worthwhile to mention Said, the young man in charge. I was indeed mad at him at the first night. During our stay I got to know him, people as well a s the bussiness he carries out over there. TBH, he offers a good service with a good price. He looks devoted to his job at a very young age. He may be shorter, but got a Denzel Washington carisma. He's a good dude, actually. By the beach, clean, friendly. I loved the tables on the sand, paintings and flags, overall hippie spirit there. Last but not least, Zanzibar is a cultural treasure and the beaches are paradise on earth.. we enjoyed our stay. Mocco Beach Villa is a good destination for us, if we revisit the paradise.

The room that's been shown to us was way different from the pictures and looking at a small dirty rockery. That was a huge disapointment. Than I persuaded Said-the guy, to get a better room with a good view, I was happy. But Said plays small games, and I had to argue for half an hour in order to avoid extra purchases asked before check-in at 10p.m. Breakfast may end at 10 a.m., however, sweeping plates from your table at 10.11 is not a gesture that we western people are familiar with. Not related with the hotel but, Italians makes unskilled noise all day and half night near the "willige- as they call it", and seems like nobody can do anything about it. Eh, Africa!

We appreciated the beachfront location and enjoyed staying at a reasonably priced accommodation that looks like it is still locally owned and not so upmarket. Our room had nearly all the amenities we expected of it (I wish we had a chair in the room). The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The breakfast was simple but sufficient and tasty. There were enough loungers for all and good shade cover. The bars were well stocked and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The generator noise and water overflow noise outside our window was quite loud. The blue light in the bathroom was a bit weird but not a big problem. As already mentioned, a chair in the room would be appreciated.
