The G.Manager, supervisors and all the staffs were really amazing. Big thumbs up to the GM Azhar, Walid, Lookman, Tina and the all the staffs for your enormous effort in providing exceptional guest services. The food was delicious, the security and the environment was excellent, the staffs were friendly, helpful and ever smiling, the housekeeping staffs were outstanding including the entertainment teams who had great performance for the guests. I would highly recommend anyone who's willing to spend their holiday vacation to book with Tropicana without having a second thought to enjoy a hysterical holiday experience!!! ❤ 😍 see you soon!!

Clean room, tasty breakfast, nice staff, sunbeds on the beach included, location near the beach, evening program, they accomodate us in the middle of night, the price considering the services is good.

a bit overpriced if you compare it to Tanzania mainland, but in line with Kendwa prices and Zanzibar in general

The people working in there is just so nice specially the head chef, he serves so good food and very accommodating to me from the day I arrived until I left the hotel. He always check if everything is okay with me. Just love the hospitality, he deserves everything and truly a good asset in your hotel. I forgot his name, but definitely he was so nice.

Some other staff in reception is so cold or maybe they are shy or intimidated of me. But the rest are very good experience for me

The room was very big, we had a private entrance to the pool with a terrace, spacious bathroom, great breakfast, the location was very comfortable- just a minute walk to the beach. The staff were helpful with anything we needed. Great value for money. Most affordable we could find in the area for very good value.

The hot water in the shower didn’t always last until the end of the second shower (maybe because our showers were quite long :) ). It wasn’t a big deal, we enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a great place to stay in my beloved Kendwa, we enjoyed our stay very much, very good value for the price. The hotel is located just a few steps form the beach, the rooms are spatious and beds are king size. Very nice big bathroom. The staff is absolutely great, always helpful. The breakfast is varied every day and very tasty. You can enjoy a show in the restaurant every evening. We will definitely come back! :o)

Really enjoyed our stay here, the staff especially those on reception were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodated our needs. The rooms were huge and cleaned daily which was nice as we always came back to fresh bedding. Over all really enjoyed our day here, the location was great and if you don’t mind a bumpy road or too for the price you get.

We had a little trouble with the temperature in the room as it fluctuated up and down, not sure if it was just the heat of the day. Unfortunately for most of our 4 days here the pool was out of action which was quite disappointing considering we had a pool facing room so it would have been nice to spend some time in it, that said the beach was only a minutes walk away.

The location is perfect, breakfast is amazing. Staff are very friendly. Lovely sized rooms and comfy beds.

We had some issues with our toilet not flushing and then leaking. But staff were very helpful and tried to fix every time. The WiFi signal could be improved slightly as at certain times in the day it didn’t stretch to the rooms. The duvets were mattress protectors which was interesting. This could be improved slightly :)

The king size beds were very comfortable. The AC was much needed in the scorching heat. Multiple breakfast options.

Every morning the security guards would speak next to my window and start laughing. This was extremely annoying, I had to call them to order multiple times. PLEASE change your beach beds on the beach, they are old and uncomfortable.
