Pool choices were great Fitness room was clean and not smelly Breakfast was delicious Beds were very comfortable My family of 6 fit very comfortably in the room we had and having 2 tvs was great since 3 of us wanted to watch 1 thing and younger kids wanted to watch kid shows.

My kids were playing with toys on the floor and found a sock under one of the beds from a previous renter. Since we had enough people to use the hide-a-bed in the couch, we pulled it out and the mattress was badly stained from what looked like pee, and there was no sheet on the mattress. We did go down to the front desk to get a sheet.

I loved when we had a problem they fixed it right away. We were there during the week so we had the whole pool area to ourselves and our kids loved it.

The hot tub was barely warmer than the pool so if that is your favorite thing like it is mine you will be disappointed. Not sure if it was a policy but we had to get our own extra towels and take out our own garbage.

We liked the comfortable beds and friendly staff at the kitchen and lobby.

The towels looked too old and I found some black hair on two of them. Also, the soap bars were already opened. I don’t know if someone used them before or that is something the cleaning lady practices at this hotel. There was no hair dryer in the room.

The location is perfect and easy to get to restaurants and downtown Rochester. Also, there are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff is friendly. The bed was comfortable.

An extra end table at bed side would be nice. And there is no closet in the room.

When I travel to Mayo I always stay here. I have stayed at a variety of hotels in Rochester, but this is my favorite. While it is not as close to Mayo as other hotels in the area it is super easy to get to and the drive to Mayo is short and easy to navigate. We will always stay here when in the area.

Very clean. The pool is amazing and breakfast was good. Most of the staff was great.

I didn't like that one of the staff stopped me in the lobby to ask me if I had a boyfriend/ fiance. Not professional. The lady that runs the kitchen area was not so nice. She got mad at me for putting juice in the cups with lids for my kids and said the GM said not to let people do that. I told her that I have 4 kids and if there is a lid then there is less chances of spills. My 12 year old and I went to make a waffle and was standing there waiting for it to be done. She told us to move and pushed my daughter away from the counter. I do get she has a lot going on but come on.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Hostess at breakfast was delightful. Checked in at 11:20 PM after long day of travel.

There were only hand towels in the bathroom. (Call to front desk & towels were brought up with minutes @ 11:45 PM). Bug on the curtain. Dead bug remains already on the curtain. Shower was just barely warm. I prefer the shower to be a bit warmer. Lamp shade on night stand broken.

Nice variety. Lady was very friendly. Cleaning or stocking throughout my time. I dad 3 children with me, all woke up at different times starving. With three visits I observed her. Food always clean and well stocked

Front seat person not wearing a hoody on night shift. Very unprofessional, didn’t care attitude when buying beverages. Other personnel, front fest morning and afternoon very friendly. Acknowledging us every time in the area going to pool or getting pops. Greeting with a smile too

We usually stay at a competitor but their pool gave me a rash last time we stayed, so we decided to check out La Quinta and it will be our new regular haunt from here on out - Breakfast, Pool and Cleanliness won us over, as did the fact that I requested no down bedding and was fully accommodated for the first time ever. Staff were courteous and helpful and when there was an issue with some shennanigans on our floor, it was handled swiftly by staff and security before we could even report it. I was worried about sounds because the awesome pool draws families with young children, but our sleep was not disturbed.

Beds were way too soft - it was like sleeping in a hammock. Adult swim time of 10pm was not enforced, which I wouldn't ordinarily mind, except the kids who were there were screaming and yelling and running all over the place, jumping and splashing around in the hot tub as well as the pool and kiddie pool so there was nowhere to go for a quiet time in the water and we couldn't hear ourselves over the ruckus. Again, it is an awesome spot for family swim and I don't begrudge kids enjoying the water even during "adult swim" - until they make it impossible for anyone else to enjoy it as well.

Rooms were nice size for family. They were clean and updated and in good repair. The location was great

The bus to Mayo was so uncomfortable to ride in , It took every bump like it did not have shocks, which is very hard on your body when ill with bladder cancer . I had to find other transportation because it was so painful to ride in.
