Set up in the room. Cold water in the lobby to drink. Full size refridgerator in the room was very nice. Wish I would have known this before I arrived. Appreciated the free breakfast. Apparently, many of the more expensive hotels in the area charged for breakfast. It made it much easier to have had breakfast there when having to drive back and forth from Mayo Clinic every day.

The water could have been softer. Doesn't lather up in the shower. Vending machine had poor choices and was close to being empty. Wish breakfast would have included a variety of fruit (only one provided), more than one choice of cold cereal, and almond milk for those of us who do not drink regular milk.

The staff was friendly, though there was no fresh fruit the breakfast was good, the room seemed clean, it was quiet on property. Staff helped me get a first floor room without paying for an upgrade which was very nice.

The ceiling had water damage, it looked a little sketchy from the outside: it reminded me of an old hotel 6 with many of the bottom rooms being outside of the hotel giving access from the outside, and there was a few people smoking drugs outside of the building.

We got a suite for the cost of a regular room. It had a living room/ kitchenette separate from the bedroom. Very roomy even for a family of 4. Full size fridge, Granite counter tops, new carpet, very clean.

The bathroom was nice, but as a carpenter that designs living spaces, I thought that they could have used a few inches from the living room and bedroom to make a little more space in the bathroom. Not much that can be done now. But architects should realize that bathrooms are more important than TV watching space.

Shuttle service to & from Mayo Clinic was exceptional! We had four different appointments during the day. We didn't have to battle the wind, snow storm, parking, extra walking & misery. Thank you for that service.

•That it didn't have a pool. •That there was no elevator to the second floor. My wife, being disabled, unable to walk the steps, I had to pay an additional $20 per night for a room on the 1st floor. •That we had to go outside to get to our room during the blizzard with her walker in the snow storm in -6°. Other rooms had an inside entrance. I complained about the extra for being disabled so maybe that's why we were put in that room!

I really love the walk in first floor rooms. They are large and very comfy. Although the rooms have been remodeled there are still some unsightly reminders of the previous owners work. There are ceilings that have been cut open and patched up but  left unfinished. There are floor planks that have missing pieces etc. Minor things that should be fixed to turn it into a more attractive place. An old motel that has been renovated as I said, but upkeep is essential. I love the price.  We don’t mind the location although it took us a while to figure it out and it’s not that far from Mayo or the malls. Plenty of room to stock up if you  have to stay for an extended period. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. There is a night staff too. I would like to see some modernization to the outside:  the façade, plus taking down the tall bushes. They really date the place. No harm here, just trying to help the company that owns it now. Love it, as I said earlier, just wanted to be the best it can be!l

The area is quiet but yet your still within walking distance of a few places and a easy couple minute drive to just about anything else you need. We loved the size of the room. After my surgery at Mayo it was great to have some space in the room especially a living room area with a recliner which worked out great cause I was unable to get in and out of bed on my own for several days. And to have a tv in living room and the bedroom was great for me and my wife. The little kitchen worked out great for having some food around and a eating area. The price was unbelievable. They even had a shuttle bus that would take you to the clinic, we didn’t need it but that’s a nice option to have. I will definitely stay here again if I need to come back. The workers were accommodating to us if we needed anything.

There is no elevator. We stayed upstairs pre surgery and then moved to first floor post surgery. The rooms upstairs are just as accommodating as the first floor.

Breakfast was very good, with a variety of food choices and a wonderfully helpful older woman taking care of it all. We found our room very clean and the kitchenette was a real plus with a television in both rooms. That allowed me to sleep in, while my wife rose early to have coffee and watch the morning news.

No elevator made things more difficult to carry our luggage and ice chest. I have a bad back and we are elderly.

It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was good!

There was an odd odder, but luckily, we didn't have any allergic reactions. There was a leak around the skylight, so I placed a trash bucket under it to catch the rainwater. It was in the adjacent room, so it didn't bother our sleeping. There was an old, padded chair where the arms were worn out and it looked like a cat scratched the backing of it. We didn't dare sit in it.

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Wonderful complementary breakfast.

I had issues with my keycard. Had to have it reprogrammed almost everyday. The recliner arm was torn and the footrest was cracked in the middle. Tub drained very slow so it would fill up while showering.

The room was huge with separate bedroom & living room, a TV in both. Bedroom had a vanity sink, as did bathroom. Living room had a couch, recliner, kitchen nook with full size fridge, sink, microwave. No interior hallways, park my car at our door which I really like.

Hot breakfast was gravy for biscuits & typical waffle maker, no hot eggs & meat. Really nothing much to complain about.
