It was in amongst the local shops however once through the facade it was like entering an oasis. Extremely well kept gardens, it was much larger than we thought...lots of rooms. Some of the larger ones looked lovely. Ours suited us, gave us what we needed and at an affordable price. The pizzas were amazing...best I have had!! Friendly staff.
It would have been lovely to have been told about the pancakes before we arrived so we could order some on our first day. We never got to try them. The lovely lady who met us said we would be able to get some but we were told because we hadn't pre ordered them we couldn't have them.

A hidden gem! At least for us. From the street, it doesn't look like much. But once you step inside the gate, the property is wonderful! Truly a vibrant and comfortable place to stay. The staff were a joy to interact with and were exceedingly helpful and cheerful for the entirety of our stay. Even though we didn't buy any, the "guns for sale" sign was a BIG plus in my book!
The load shedding meant that we lost power on our last day, as we were packing up to checkout. Not really something the hotel can control though and to their credit, they warned us in advance about this possibility.

Mirriam & Joy are absolutely fabulous. Ask for their counsel regarding all activities. The free pancakes at 15h-16h are delicious and perfect timing. The pizza are nice and easy for a good price. Breakfast is simple but good and enough to start the day. The pool is really nice. And location is perfect near a really good restaurant and in front of the ShopRite. My room with garden view was really nice and great view.
Due to the general shortage of electricity in Zambia we were often on the generator but it didn't cover my room. So sometimes it was pitch black in the room and no warm water.

Staff were absolutely lovely, special shout out to Mike at the bar who did everything to make us feel welcome, a really kind and warm person, who set the tone for the place, and to Joy at reception (well-named.) The pool was a welcome relief from the heat. The accommodation was centrally situated. There was a lovely garden and it felt like an oasis in the midst of the busy town.
We had booked a "standard" room but it was so tiny and miserable we upgraded to a "deluxe" room, which was around 50% more expensive and I would have considered that to be more of a standard size. I thought filter coffee should have been available as part of the free breakfast, especially given what we were paying for the room. I also thought they could have made better use of the ubiquitous mangoes and included them as an option in the free breakfast.

I initially booked 2 nights here, but ended up staying 4 nights and returning again for another 4! So yes, I loved it! I stayed in one of the budget double rooms first which are quite small, but still comfortable. I upgraded later to a larger double room which is much nicer and was worth the extra money if your budget isn't too tight. Location is great. There is a supermarket over the road as well as bars and other restaurants on the main road. The falls are only a 3 to 4 dollar taxi ride away. It's nice and peaceful! There is a large garden area and it's far from the road so you have some nice peace. The pool is big enough to swim in and it's very clean. The breakfast area is great and the bar is also really good! It's well stocked and reasonable priced ! And a lovely atmosphere. It's not too busy there either. Mike is the best barman I have ever met and will look after well! It's highly secure and safe. The staff are amazing! Really friendly and will help you with anything. You get free tea and coffee all day and also there is an outdoor kitchen for making your own food and drink. They do some freshly made pizza there until 8pm which I found delicious! There are also dorm rooms there and I found a great mix of travellers to speak to. Tip: the electricity in Livingstone shuts down a lot in the day, so make sure you phone and batter pack is filling charged when you can. If I ever return to Livingstone, I will definitely return here! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was delightful to leave the chaotic downtown thoroughfare and enter the walled-in sanctuary of Fawlty Towers. The place is immaculately clean and pleasantly landscaped. We were welcomed at reception and given instructions to enjoy their daily free crepes they make at 1500 in the afternoon. The rooms were comfortable and AC was nice to knock down the heat before sleeping. Mosquito nets and bug spray was provided but it was not a bother🦟. Right across the street is a large supermarket to buy ingredients to cook in the kitchen next to the swimming pool, but there is a full bar and wood fired pizza 🍕 served daily. A full English breakfast or oatmeal is offered free if you've booked an individual room. They also have dorm beds at a lower price. We ended up staying two extra days and taked advantage of daily massages for a fair price. The staff are super friendly and arranged for us to raft the Zambezi River, at no extra charge. Also secure parking. Very relaxing and safe.

the staff! miriam, gladys, joy, the landscaper who kept the lawns watered and the pool clean, the laundry workers whom i never met, the bartenders and pizza makers, housekeepers who serviced our room or replaced our towels, robbie the security guy...all fantastic, friendly, helpful. Every single one of them has an amazing, positive attitude and makes your stay like one spent with friends you've known for years. also love mompeg, the resident older kitty. what a special girl she is!
2 of us shared a room. a couple dozen of us were on a medical trip together. it was tight quarters. but it's the room that was reserved for us, so it's not fawlty towers' fault! we figured some workarounds for our bags (under our beds), toiletries (a tiny ledge overhead in the bathroom could accommodate a few items) and laying out of next day's clothes (hang them over the wires that hold up the mosquito net) :) i moved into my own room with larger bed for two nights at conclusion of the trip. it was grand!

- The location was brilliant. - The trips were organized very well! - I stayed in the budget room that was big enough for one person. - I loved to have porridge for breakfast.
- The room was a bit cold. There could have been a luggage rack in the room. - This might sound like a small thing but for me it matters. When arriving at any hotel, it’s always great to meet a staff member who actually tells me about the hotel policy, and when leaving, it’s nice to hear the words ”Welcome again”. Nothing too much. However, this did not happen.

Amazing staff. The overall atmosphere of the lodge was calm with a lot of trees and outside seating. Clean room. Very comfortable bed that I slept like a baby! They have a massage service, a small souvenir shop, a bar and a restaurant all in the lodge. There was a large supermarket across the street and their shared kitchen was well-equipped, so you could cook easily for the entire stay.
Wi-Fi didn't reach the room, but our room was at the very back corner. I think they are continuing to improve their network, though! In the common areas, their wi-fi worked perfectly. Shared fridge was a bit cluttered.

Probably one of the best places to stay in Livingstone. It is in the middle of town with a shopping center just across the street. The place feels like a calm oasis with a pool, bar and nice garden. Rooms are comfy and clean. Staff is friendly as well. They have their own pizza oven and make pancakes every day.
Only downside is that the locals know tourists stay here. So there are guys outside and sometimes kids that try to sell you things or harass you. Not a fault of the hotel though, they are great and have security.
