What a stunning lodge this is! Beautiful setting and tastefully decorated, quiet rooms with ample space and very comfortable layout. Very nice bar area next to the pool, and a superb restaurant serving exquisite meals for dinner. Excellent breakfast included. Wifi was working very well with no interruptions. Free shuttle bus to town at set times, and paid transportation at other times can be arranged. What stood out the most was the wonderful service from the staff, always polite and friendly, and going out of their way to make sure all guests have all their needs met. In particular I need to single out the wonderful receptionist, Grace, who always goes to the extreme to tend to all the guests particular whims and needs, and does it with a huge smile. This lady does so much more than her job requires, and with such passion, she is a wonderful ambassador for the lodge, she should be made the PR manager!

This is the most amazing Lodge. I recommend it highly. It is a brand new very modern lodge. Breakfast is fantastic with personal service. The gardens are well layout and the swimming pool is brilliant blue and has a lookout on a small waterhole were you can see waterhog and small animals. They offer a free shuttle service to the Vic Falls and town, and the drivers are very friendly and always on time. The rooms are spacious with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. I would like to mention the following staff who made our stay exceptional : Grace, Lulu, Rachell, Nora and Mary - Thank you Insika Lodge, you were great !!

Relatively new hotel (2022) which is superbly furnished with exceptionally professional and helpful staff. I rated the location as good as it is quite a distance from town (10 min drive), but this is offset by the fact that a shuttle service is available at no additional cost. Convenient to have the restaurant on-site, with good quality food options.

The lay-out of the hotel rooms was surprising. Our room was facing the court yard which meant that anyone walking past could look in and therefore when we were in the room we had to close the curtains. Next time, I will ask for a room which is more private and not as much in sight of other hotel guests. The furniture is beautiful; with the light shades, finger prints are already visible and the staff will have to regularly wash the chairs etc down to reduce the wear and tear of daily use and expand the lifespan.

I was on a tour that I ended up leaving before it finished, for many reasons and was not in a good place mentally as a result. I was so lucky to have been able to book Insika for four nights, where I was able to recover both physically and mentally as I made preparations for unexpected changes to my travel plans. Insika was the panacea to my needs at the right time. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly, even remembering and using my name throughout my four day stay, which made me feel connected and considered. The food was delicious and well priced, the bar staff willing and able to make me the best chocolate milkshakes and the day spa helped me relax and get me back to me. I honestly had the best massage of my life at this spa and I have had many. The complementary river cruise, four course canapé menu, washed down with multiple mojitos, was divine and overall my very short stay was exactly what I needed at a really difficult time for me. Refreshed from all the relaxing (I even had a Pumba come visit the little river at the back of my room!) and reinvigorated by some genuinely good service and the most luxurious and comfortable accommodation, I was in the right space to be able to make ongoing travel plans that allowed me to move forward with a long awaited trip to beautiful Africa. Did I tell you that the bed was so comfortable and after 42 days of travel across Africa in less than stellar accommodations, I felt like a princess floating on clouds. It was my favorite place to be for quite a few hours. I can’t thank the whole crew at Insika for their lovely natures and kind hearted service. Nothing was too much for anyone, everyone was happy to help me with anything I needed. You were exactly what I needed. I would thoroughly recommend this lodge to anyone wanting to get away, to see the most beautiful location in Zimbabwe (the falls) and to enjoy a little luxury.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I had to leave. I could have stayed here for ever.

Insika Lodge is a wonderful place to stay to explore Victoria Falls. It just 10 minutes form the falls entrance. There is a complimentary shuttle which takes you into town or collects you every few hours, once you are in town everything is within walking distance. The lodge is well designed, with the dining area, reception, pool area and bar all on the one side of the property with the room on the other side, the rooms are peaceful, well decorated, have everything you need including fans, aircon a fridge, a safe, and outside seating area and plenty of space. The Lodge and Vic Falls are very safe. The Lodge has beautiful gardens and a lovely waterhole which animals frequent daily. during ours stay we saw warthog, elephant, bushbuck, mongoose, baboons and far too many bird species to mention. The lodge is perfectly situated in the national park, its close enough to town so you can get around but its so peaceful once you return from a day of busy sightseeing. The food was fabulous and they catered for my gluten free dietary requirements easily. The staff are just wonderful, always willing to help and answer any questions you have. Nothing is too much trouble. There are 14 rooms currently and most guests only stay for a night or two, we stayed for 6 nights and really got to know the team and the lodge. Stay at Insika and you will not be disappointed, make sure you book a sunrise boat cruise with them too, the light on the Zambezi River in the morning is unreal. Insika Lodge offer incredible value for money.

Luxurious, clean, well maintained hotel. An excellent 3 day stay there. They really take hospitality to the next level. Amazing in taking care of you. A few highlights are following. 1. Luxurious Zambezi river evening, cruise exclusive for the guest of the lodge. 2. Five time a day drop off and pick up from the Victoria Falls. 3. The restaurant was excellent. I do want to call out chef Roberts and his team. We had a very strict vegetarian diet and he took care of us with our diet restrictions and made an excellent food – breakfast, dinner, lunch all three days. He treated us like his family and even went out of our way to make sure we are well fed.

We had such a great time at Insika Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and nicely designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food was really tasty, both breakfast and dinner were great. One of the highlights was the complimentary sunset river cruise, which completely exceeded our expectations. We happened to be celebrating a birthday during our stay, the team arranged a cake and celebration on the cruise at no extra cost. They also left a gift in the room. It was such a kind gesture that we’ll never forget. All of the staff were fantastic. We had a little issue in the room and they immediately solved it! We especially want to thank Grace for her kindness and exceptional service. We were also able to book activities (such as the Zambezi Park Game Drive) directly through the lodge, which was super convenient. There is also a nice spa on-site if you want to relax with a great massage. The free shuttle to the town and Victoria Falls gate was super handy, and when we needed a taxi outside the shuttle times, the lodge helped us arrange one for about $15 USD. And we could directly pay to the lodge. Even when we booked tours through other platforms like Viator, everything went smoothly, drivers knew the lodge and picked us up right from there. Overall, Insika Lodge was amazing, and we’re really happy we chose to stay there. Highly recommend it!

Exquisite balance of luxury while still allowing us to enjoy the natural beauty of the area—I spotted a deer wandering in the forest as I swam in the infinity pool! The room…goodness. I loved it so, so much; even better than the pictures online. So clean, beautiful, tastefully decorated, and arranged in a way that made me relax right away. The garden right outside was so tranquil; I loved awaking to flowers and birds. The bath and open showers were a treat—some people disliked that you could see into them from the rest of the room, but as I was solo, I loved it. The turndown service was a special touch as well: they drew the mosquito curtain (full and floor length, instead of the netting), adjusted the lights, and untucked the bedspread so I needed only to crawl in. So nice. I only wish that the glass on the terrace doors were tinted so that people passing by outside couldn’t see straight into the room during the day. My stay included a gorgeous sunset dinner cruise, and they coordinated my transport to and from the Boma dinner as well. Despite some of my schedule challenges, they were always on time and prepared to assist. I enjoyed a lovely massage in the spa, although sadly the sauna was not open. The food was delicious! I had such a good steak there. My only request would be to include more local African dishes in the menu. It was almost exclusively American/European, which—considering that we were in Africa—was a wasted opportunity and a bit perplexing, if not even off-putting. Being able to taste the local culture would have vastly enhanced the travel experience. Western food options are of course helpful to have for less intrepid travellers, but should never replace the local cuisine entirely!

Very pleasant 4 star intimate Lodge with only 40 comfortable rooms, with choice of standard or luxury rooms. We opted the luxury rooms, all in walking distance, ground floor in surrounding gardens

The overall facilities’s. Pleasant spacious rooms with modern facility’s, rooms equipped with good aircon, powerful rainshower and private patio area. Everywhere one is connected to the hotel’s wifi. Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner Snacks at the poolside bar Their own sunset cruise over the Zambesi is a must and quite intimate and luxury, including a 3-course canapé dinner and drinks Staff is pleasant and helpful and can book transfers to/from the airport and arrange for excursions. The Lodge have their own free shuttle service on scheduled timings to town and back

We have never been to Vic Falls and did not really know what to expect. Insika really surprised us. From the moment that we were collected at the airport, everyone was so friendly. We were greeted by a Trainee staff member at the hotel, Tabith, and she was super professional and helpful. She assisted us with planning all our excursions for the few days that we stayed there as well as booked our dinners etc. The room was nice and big and beautiful. The grounds were very neat and well kept with a stunning swimming pool and outside bar area with a great barman. We loved the fact that they had transport to where ever we wanted to go. The bonus was the complimentary boat cruise from their sister company - Zambezi Vista.

Would have been nice to see a bit more small animals roaming the grounds, but we cannot complain about anything. We had an amazing time.
