My wife and I loved everything about Shrub Lodge. We stayed for 6 perfect nights. It is situated in a very good central quite residential location very close to the Falls and town centre. We think this is a new or recently built lodge, much more modern than any lodge we saw in Victoria Falls. The grounds, lobby, restaurant and spacious, modern high ceiling rooms were perfect. Great strong warm shower too. Our room had a modern, clean bathroom with a walk in shower and stand alone bath tub. The modern room furnishings and high quality queen size bed and bed sheets/ white new comforter was great too. There is also a beautiful clean pool in the middle of the lodge. So much attention to detail in this resort. The service we received from every single staff member at the lodge was so fantastic it is hard to describe . We literally felt like we were with family from the reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff to the Lodge drivers. One huge benefit was how easily we booked all of our safari tours, evening shows , boat tours and transportation through the lodge with great ease and for fair pricing. The included breakfast was also very enjoyable with a good variety of items and gentle, great service. All in all, this is the best lodge my wife and I have every stayed in.

The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was unmatched. The property was expertly maintained. The location of the hotel was convenient to all of the masterfully cultivated excursions. An amazing lodging for visiting a world wonder.

I loved everything.

The staff was absolutely incredible! Was warmly welcomed by upon arrival. Nozihlobo assisted me with anything and everything I required and did so with a beautiful smile, communicated exceptionally well when I arranged for transfers with her. She is totally incredible and went over and beyond in making sure that I felt at home which was highly appreciated. Felt safe as a solo traveller, Courage was a star, he mainly assisted me with my transfers and he was professional, would pick me up at the time requested and would even be waiting for me which gave a great level of safety, especially if my pick up was at night. Also interacted with Victoria and Anesu and they were amazing as well! Didn't use much of other facilities (I.e pool) but room facilities were great, hot water was readily available for a hot shower every morning and evening. Overall, beautiful place to stay, transfers are available to the falls/to town, amazing people. Throughly enjoyed my time here.

Would've loved if it was a walkable distance to town but transfers are available and quick offered by the hotel so wasn't a pain point.

The service from the staff was exceptional. Before my stay, I reached out via email to enquire about booking activities and the responses were so helpful - I was so surprised at how helpful the staff were because I've never experienced that level of service before. We arranged to do the bamba tram, Victoria Falls tour, Chobe day trip, Zambezi game drive and Zambezi river cruise. All of the activities were amazing. The hotel arranged all transfers too, so that made the days out even better. The breakfast in the hotel was great and the staff were always happy to help. I would definitely recommend The Shrub Lodge!

Airport transfers were seamless. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. A big shout out to Armstrong and Courage, who made every trip a highlight. The team at the lodge arranged all our activities, and they were always on time. Even went an extra mile to get us a table at The Lookout Cafe when it was packed. The food was amazing at the lodge, and there was a great variety at the breakfast buffet. The pool was super clean. I wish we had stayed long enough to use it, but we got some amazing poolside pictures just before we left. There is a convenient shop close by just in case you forgot to bring something. We are definitely coming back...

There was nothing I could fault them on. All-around amazing stay.

The staff is very helpful and patient. They booked all of our activities and the hotel provides efficient transport. If you enjoy quietness this is the place for you. It's in a good area with lots of other lodges nearby. It's about 5 min drive to town, you're not in the main center but close enough. Clean lodge. Beautiful pool area. Value for money

The room phones are way too loud. If you pay using a card they charge a service fee of 5% and also the 2% tourism levy that I wish Booking.com can include the levy in the booking fee.

We stayed for one night in Victoria Falls while waiting for a train departure the next day. We liked everything about the lodge, the room was comfortable, the lodge surroundings were quiet, and the restaurant food was very good and plentiful. The room included a buffet breakfast with eggs to order. The staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Activities can be booked at the lodge as well as transfers to other locations in Victoria Falls. The value for money was excellent. We would definitely recommend this small lodge and would stay there again.

Amazing employees that all make you feel so welcomed! The buffet breakfast is good. The water pressure in the shower is great and super hot water. There’s a swimming pool. They have shuttle/driver service that can take you around for a small fee. They can even book tours for you and offer an airport pickup too. Air conditioner works great. Shout out to Matthew the driver!! He was fantastic!

I would have loved if it was a little closer to town so we could easily walk there but with the wildlife maybe it’s a good thing that they drive you to town so actually there’s nothing I didn’t like about it!

All the staff were friendly and most helpful, including the drivers of the shuttle, the waiter, Washington and the receptionists, Faith and Everline. Although the accommodation was a little way from the town and the falls, it was easy and inexpensive to organise their shuttle service for transport. The surroundings and pool were well cared for. The bedroom and ensuite were clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. We were very happy with the included breakfast and the generous quantity of food in the dinner meal we ate at the restaurant.

We couldn’t fault our experience as we felt very comfortable and well looked after during our stay.

The Shrub Lodge is a great little property the rooms a lovely, clean and a good size. We stayed for one night before we joined our tour group. The shower had great water pressure and we slept very well. The team are incredibly welcoming and helpful and assisted us in organising activities while we were in Vic Falls. We used their transport from the airport and to and from our activities and nothing was a problem. Breakfast and drinks were varied and good quality and the pool was a welcome break after a long day of travelling. We’d recommend The Shrub Lodge and their team to anyone staying in Vic Falls.
