Super friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast choice. Extremely helpful with organising of tours and taxis. Good size room with comfy bed. Lovely lookout tower for evening cocktails. Lovely pool. Use of sister hotel next door for Spa facilities. Great location for Victoria Falls visit.

Not a major issue for us but the shower is in the bedroom so no privacy which may not suit everyone. Aircon kept switching off and was noisy. Lookout Tower advertised with watering hole views was blocked by trees but still a great spot for an evening drink.

Great place to stay in Victoria Falls. The staff were very helpful and accomodating, the room was spacious and clean and the lookout tower and pool on site were added bonuses. It was also not too far from the falls entrance or any of the activities we did so pick up was convenient and quick. We were actually thinking about walking to the falls but it was so hot (100F+) that it was not feasible but for us if it was cooler we would have just walked. Breakfast was included with the stay and was very good. We expected a buffet style but we were actually able to order off a menu and a small buffet table of fruit, pastries, and yogurt was also available. We also had dinner one night which was good and decently priced for the area. The staff were also helpful in arranging airport transfers and also offered to book tours which we ended up booking a Chobe day tour through them which was great. Overall highly recommend this location when staying in Victoria Falls.

There were some power outage issues during our stay on our last night. The lights worked fine but all of our power outlets went in and out for a few hours. However maintenance did promptly begin looking into the issue and it was resolved by the time we woke up the next morning.

Really nice and quiet place with comfortable beds, good breakfast and the possibility to go up the lookout (you can see the water from the Falls spraying over the line of trees). I never managed to see the sunset from up there (as I was always somewhere else) but I would say the sunrise from the rooftop is even better as it's kinda over the falls). Staff at reception is very helpful, you can buy activities through them.

Just the location. It's really far from the city center and the falls, it's hot and humid, you don't even want to walk, and a taxi is 5$ (hotel charges 6$ though) to the center, which is like 2 km and 7$ for the falls which is 1km further and the same for going back (way too expensive).

Excellent location and very safe to walk around the neighborhood and even downtown, which takes you about 30 min.. The lookout is a real asset, not only for a sundowner, but even during the day to enjoy the breeze and the view on the cozy second floor. Breakfast is excellent and additional meals are tasty and in the average prize range of VIC Falls.

Some of the rooms don't receive much day light and the rooms opposite the pool don't give you much privacy except if you close the curtains.

It’s an amazing place with a nice garden, pool and a lookout which you can use for your sundowner drinks. Especially the people working there are amazing and so helpful…it’s really a pleasure to stay there for some days. Big „thank you“ to Shalom at the reception…she is amazing and she booked all our trips and gave us amazing good advises (helicopter, dinner cruise, e-bikes,…). We had a perfect stay at the VicFalls and enjoyed every day. Thanks so much to everybody again… :-)

All good and the daybeds at the pool was not a problem for us…

Very clean, well maintained, well furnished rooms. Friendly staff. Tah at reception was very helpful. All bookings done for us. George very willing to help. Taxi service connected to the resort, easily available. $6 to the Falls. Excellent breakfast and meals were good and reasonable. The lookout was a nice place to relax, to see the spray from the Falls, sunrise and sunset. We had a wonderful stay. Exceeded our expectations. Thank you.

Everything was just great.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy for a good night's sleep. The dining area had a welcoming atmosphere, and the breakfast options were excellent, offering something for everyone. The highlight was definitely the lookout tower, where you can see the mist of the falls and enjoy beautiful sunsets. A truly memorable stay!

The pool was quite small, and its proximity to the dining area made it feel a bit awkward at times, as if being casually observed.

Went out for the night and it was very cold. When I came back I wished there was an electric blanket to warm me up. I travelled for the Vic Falls Marathon which finishes late morning to early afternoon for the 42km runners. I think they should relax their cutoff times for breakfast and offer residents alternative bathing facilities after checkout without the residents having to ask for these as a favour. It's uncomfortable

The property offers a boutique type of environment. Very clean, lush green surroundings and amazing staff. Another thing I loved, they did not destroy indigenous trees, they built around them. Nothing to complain about. The chefs do a great job, food was delicious. Their chicken winter salad is excellent, one of the best salad I have ever tasted. I can write a book about this place. It’s one of the best places to stay in Victoria Falls. Thank you so much Shongwe Lookout Team! You are the best!

The property is conveniently located . It has a charm about it with the art and African prints incorporated in the decor . There is also a lookout area where you can enjoy the African sunset and sight the thundering smoke from the falls . The food was delicious .

I didn’t enjoy watching the 2 barmen double up as waitresses and run around like headless chicken trying to serve all of the guests and they just didn’t seem happy which made me uncomfortable.
