The cleanliness in every area of the hotel. Staff are very attentive in keeping everything neat and tidy. On the lovely terrace you are never met with dirty cups and glasses on the tables. They are always cleared and this makes for a relaxing setting. The bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect. Breakfast is excellent and good value. Lovely selection of food. Definitely want to dine one evening in the restaurant. Well done to all staff in this lovely hotel.

Lovely location, staff very welcoming and offering help to my disabled mother. Breakfast was good choice though slightly expensive. Meal in the restaurant was good. Room on ground floor with door out to small seating area with hedged grass border. If you did not have your room made up in return, you got a free bottle of water. Very pet friendly, blankets, bowls and treats left for dogs to use.

Virtually no outside parking so had to use garage nearly all of stay so need to budget for the extra cost's, through the door to excess the hotel, lift and stairs. Could do with a disabled bay in garage as parking bays were tight.

Great, friendly and helpfull staff. Really dog-friendly place - our dog got treats, there was mat and were spare bowls just in case and we could take the dog to the breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and offered good selection.

Its old building, so there were some problems with ventilation, at least at last floor. The underground parking is low and narrow.

The apartment was very clean and with good equipment. 24 hrs availability of stuff. The location is great. The free parking

The window blinds were broken in the bedroom. And the stuff wasn’t able to fix it. They didn’t show any priority to have it fix. The key cards for the room wasn’t working ever other day. So we need to go down every night again for new key cards.

The staff was very nice, we came late to the hotel, but we have got an excellent service in the restaurant. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. Big surprise for us and the dogs! A blanket and two bowls with food. Very nice experience after our 11 hours trip in the car, a very nice walk in the beautifull nature.

Stayed at this hotel for one night as we were unable to find space in Hamburg proper. Having tried it I would love to come again for a proper visit, as we only saw the beautiful castle nearby on our way out. Room was quite comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of choices.

We got the impression from the hotel's website that breakfast was included for all rooms, but it turns out we had to pay extra. Checking in took quite some time as the receptionist was keeping our keys in a pile with a bunch of others and we had to help him sort them out.

We were visiting from the US to see old friends in Ahrensburg. The location proximity to the train station, their house, and the nearby castle were outstanding! It was also very convenient to walk into the town center to access, shops, and restaurants. The accommodations were very comfortable. We were very pleased that they had oat milk available for morning coffee to accompany an excellent breakfast as my wife has dairy issues. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Fitness room and sauna were being remodeled and not available.

The hotel and room were beautiful, i was shocked at how nice the room was. The staff was nice and helpful, and the breakfast was good, though it could have had a bit more variety. Location was great, went there to meet some friends for a concert in Hamburg.

Public transport access not very good if you need to get to other places, especially at the weekend. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room

The rooms were good sized and the bed was perfect. I enjoyed a great solid sleep at this hotel, not something to be taken for granted. The breakfast buffet is fantastic! The location is perfect with nearby amenities and train station within walking distance one one side and schloss Ahrensburg and miles of beautiful hiking trails on the other.
