We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect – close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. The rooms are cozy and beautifully designed, with very comfortable beds and a great minibar. Every detail is so thoughtfully taken care of – and that truly made us feel welcome and relaxed. We especially appreciated the dog-friendly amenities, which made our furry friend feel at home too. The breakfast was delicious, and the beautiful park nearby was perfect for morning walks. It’s the kind of place you instantly fall in love with – and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We know we’ll be returning here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Rosengarten. The breakfast was excellent, including home-made jam and bread. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is truly a little gem in the north of Hamburg and we can highly recommend a stay here. It is not far from the airport and very near to the beautiful Alster river valley and less than 30 minutes from the city centre.

I was on business trip and it was quite near. Very kind owner: got complementary jam made by his wife. Facility is very clean and has everything you need.

This room was the only one that has its private bathroom outside of room. It was not such a problem.I knew for that and owner was very kind and offered another options but I kept initial one as it was more affordable. Separate bathroom was very clean and for my personal use. Nice thing was that you could find slippers (for single use) and bathrobe.

Very friendly people, super clean room and a very comfortable bed. Very green outside and quiet. Nice garden view. Super clean bathroom and good water pressure in the shower with a shower head high enough for a tall person to fit under.

Parking situation a bit complicated if there are more than a few guests with cars. But it was absolutely solvable.

More of an old style hotel with great hospitality. Very helpful staff. Easy walk to the train station (without luggage).

Breakfast was a bit on the expensive side but still a nice spread.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, so much choice, lovingly arranged and all very good. The hotel location near the Alsterwanderweg was perfect. The hotel dog is the most cuddly and lovable guest greeter ever.

This family run hotel is in an upscale suburb of Hamburg. The hotel is only 10 minutes by foot and 3 minutes by taxi from the nearest S-Bahn station. Very friendly owner and staff. Comfortable room. Lots of restaurants near to the hotel in the town of Poppenbuettell. 25 minute by S-Bahn to Hbf.

Has to run the shower for a few minutes for hot water to reach the tap. I guess it was a big converted family home so it takes time for hot water to reach the rooms.
