Clean and relatively close to the airport

The staff didn’t respond to my message asking how to get to the property and didn’t provide any instructions on booking so I paid €10 for a short taxi ride to the hotel.

I love Motel One and we stay in their hotels whenever we travel... this one was well located and they have a parking lot that you pay for at reception (i think 18€ per day?). The breakfast is good as always but in this hotel the choice of food was a bit limited, for example they have fried eggs at Motel One Berlin and here we only had a boiled egg. Apart from that, the room was really clean and comfortable. The bed is super nice and the shampoo/soap smells amazing.

The prices at the bar, at the reception, are really too much! You would pay that much in a fancy bar in the city center. The TV doesn't have a classic QR code/chrome cast system, but something old-fashioned, so we didn't manage to connect our phone to watch Netflix. Even though i love their hotels and breakfasts - the price for 1 persons breakfast is a bit too much for that what is offered (still much better from other hotels in that price range.)

We had a very quiet room and comfy bed and generally slept very well during out stay at Motel One Hamburg Airport. The room and shower were clean and staff were extremely friendly - for example, on the day of our check-out, they offered us free coffee while we waited for our ride to arrive. The location was very convenient for us, as it was walking distance from the airport and also provided us with good bus routes into the city and to family living nearby.

A bit more options to hang clothing (like a small closet or additional hangers) would have been good as we found it difficult to properly manage our clothing (in particular after rainy days with wet clothing). Also, while we could get hot water for a tea or coffee at the reception, having a kettle in the room would be much more convenient in particular during the night.

Everything was perfect, we arrived quite late and the staff were so friendly and kind that they made a stressful day better. The room was lovely, clean, nothing at all negative to say. The bed was super comfortable, even with my 6 year old wriggling around next to me all night, the shower was brilliant. No complaints at all, would definitely stay here again as an airport hotel, the airport was a lovely (in the sunshine!) walk, no more than 10-15 mins along greenery rather than the main road next to the airport entrance. Amazing check-out time as well, makes you feel like there is no rush. Really enjoyed it! Thank you so much!

Excellent location walking distance to visit family 10 min., which was the main purpose of our trip to Hamburg, and walking distance to the airport 15 min. through the forest. Couldn't be better. Also convenient for bus, U Bahn and S Bahn to Hamburg-Mitte. The room was modern and very clean. Never had to wait for elevators, which is unusual in many hotels these days when you travel the world. The staff was also very service minded.

The hotel was near the airport and easy to access by foot. The room was clean and the bathroom was wide enough. The bed was comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming.

When I was eating my breakfast a serving lady asked for my room number and she didn't say why she asked. I felt like an intruder. If they are concerned about something like that they shouldn't serve breakfast in the lobby. And the cleaning lady couldn't wait for me to leave the room and enter my room. I am a solo traveller and that scared me.

Clean & stylish, friendly & helpful staff, very professional. Quite a lot of choice for breakfast. The hairdryer is good (high power) which is great for long hair (and quite rare in hotels). Good location: 15 min walk from the airport & it's easy to get to some shops & restaurants (20 min walk max). Great option if you need to stay somewhere neae the airport!

The mattresses are very (too) soft and the aircon/heating system is a bit noisy (not a single noise when it's off, though)

Within walking distance of the airport (about 15 minutes with my case), decent size room, modern bathroom, no problem with noise despite being close to the airport. Walked out to a supermarket and to dinner, was very pleasantly surprised by the neighbourhood, felt like a suburb of the city, wouldn't have thought you were so close to the airport!

Would have liked more options for breakfast (it was pay €16 for the buffet, or nothing), but I worked round it. No major problems!

Beautiful decor, comfortable bed, great music accompanying a great breakfast. Overall good value for money.

Although close enough to the airport to walk, it is longer than advertised (about 25 mins) awkward to do and hard to find, most importantly it involves a long flight of stairs at the end of a pedestrian overbridge - a struggle with luggage. There is, however, a bus stop right behind the hotel connecting to the airport in 5mins. This should be included in the description.

I chose Motel One because I had stayed in Berlin before and was very pleased with the services and quality. I only wanted one night because I had a morning flight. It is very close to the airport. You can get there by bus to the airport or by any other taxi service. I enjoyed cleanliness and peace.

You have to pay an additional Hamburg city tax that I didn't know about.
