Beautiful industrial décor that is still cozy. Nice warm lighting. There's some kitchen utensils and appliances and they can store your luggage. Breakfast is served at the coffee shop downstairs and is pretty tasty. The neighborhood is lively and beautiful (full of canals, greenery, cafés and restaurants) and really well connected (bus stops and u-bahn close by). I'd gladly stay there again.

The mattress isn't the firmest but I had no issues.

The whole experience of staying at Hood House was great. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The coffee shop in the entrance too made great coffee and tasty cakes. It was in a quiet and safe area too with a shop within a 1 minute walking distance. As well as a few parks close by which were handy to run around. It was handy having a microwave and utensils in the room as well if we needed to cook but we didn’t end up using them as we ate out.

Didn’t really have anything to complain about. Only small thing was the light in the lift didn’t work properly so couldn’t see the buttons easily to choose our floor.

The location was not in the city center, but the bus station was very near and it was possible to reach the center in 20 min. The rooms are fresh renovated, there was kettle and tea provided as well as small capsule coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable. Cool sound from loud-speakers which was possible to connect with a phone via Bluetooth, we could enjoy our own music.

The bed could be a bit bigger, I think it was only 160 cm wide. We tried the breakfast in the café which located on the 1st floor of the building for 20 euro pro person. It was bad experience, because first we need to wait for a long time, them my husband was forced to bring everything from the bar counter on his own, the omelette was awful, they forgot to give us granola, which we have seen on google photos. At the end we did a whole self-service and needed to remain them all the time about drinks or granola, etc. However, cafe doesn't belong to Hood house, this is independent chain of the cafes, but I won't t recommend them.

Easy check in experience and lovely spacious room with really cozy bed. We were lucky and able to book the prime room with balcony and best one we’ve stayed in. Quiet and private and felt safe. The area the apartments are in too was just perfect, lovely chilled neighbourhood and felt really friendly and safe. Would definitely recommend

A bit warm in the middle of the night, a fan would be good. We opened the window and thankfully there were no outside noises so able to still sleep well

The staff was very nice. The matress was very comfortable, and the pillows as well (way more comfortable that other german hotels that I've been). The bathroom was very comfortable. The wardrobe had plenty of space. The kitchen appliances and utensils were clean. The location is great. Just 20-25 min by bus from the central station. Very well comunicated by public transport.

I thought the appartment was bigger, but that might be my problem of not checking the squared meters in advance. The first day was a bit cold, but I think it was because it was not heated for a period of time. After the first day, the room was warm again and I didn't feel cold any longer.

Location was great. Close to public transport and easy to get around and lots of great restaurants in the area. Some lovely areas to walk in close proximity to the property. Coffee downstairs at the cafe was excellent. Good bakery across the road. Washing available downstairs and was easy to use and cheap using the app.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The appartment was really too small for 4 people.

Everything! Perfect for our family with young kids. Possibility of making two separate rooms. Dishwasher. Complimentary coffee, drinks.

The sofa bed wasn’t prepped and ready for our daughter to sleep in upon our arrival late at night. But the receptionist was so kind and did it for us. We especially appreciated all his help with this, parking, etc. It made all the difference for us having an enjoyable experience.

This was my second time staying at Hood House. I got the Cozy+ room this time and it was perfect for a week-long stay on my own as I mostly dined out or ordered in and didn't require a full kitchenette. My room faced the main road but I wasn't disturbed by the noise as the windows are soundproof. I slept well most nights (which is saying a lot as I normally don't when I'm on the road) and I loved that each room had built-in bluetooth speakers! All-in-all it was an easy and comfortable stay - the hotel had all the essentials for a long stay and a friendly and helpful team to match. Plus Winterhude is a great neighbourhood to walk in with plenty of cafe, restaurant, and shop options at every corner.

The kitchen wall shelf extends out to where the desk is and is at my eye level (I'm 5'4") so aside from banging my head on the edge once I also worried about hurting my eye by accident. They definitely should add a shelf corner guard on that.

Great room, nice bed. Chose a room facing the back of the building as the hotel has no aircon and I wanted to be able to open Windows without traffic noise. Nice to have a small kitchen and a fridge. There is a supermarket just next to the hotel. WiFi, tv and sound system worked great. I love the location close the the lake and Mühlenkamp.

Wgat a wonderful apartment. I stayed with my husband and son (3 y.o.), and the staff made bed for my son and secured all the corners around that bed (including shelves above the bed), so perfect service. Kitchen well equipped to di yourself breakfast or small dinner for a kid. Downstairs in the lobby coffee place you can buy delicious fresh buns. Gym facilities are new and well kept.
