The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they kindly allowed me to check in a bit early as my room was already ready. The room and bathroom were both very spacious and clean. I appreciated the nice work table, coffee machine, and fridge. Overall, a very comfortable room.

The location isn’t a drawback, but something to keep in mind — it’s a bit farther from the city center, situated in a purely residential area. There are bus stops and a metro station within a 5–10 minute walk, so getting around is easy. Just note that it might add around 20 minutes to your travel time, depending on where you're going — something to consider if time is a factor for you. Otherwise liked everything about the hotel, it was very comfy.

The location was perfect for us. Public transport and a variety of restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was friendly and polite. The check-in and checkout online were easy and fast. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was a minibar with a good selection of drinks from Hamburg. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time there.

Our room was on the first floor near to the hotel entrance and when people smoked outside all the smoke was coming into our room through the window. That wasn't nice as the smell stays for a while in the room and it is very unpleasant. It would be great to tell smokers to move away from the rooms on that side of the street when smoking.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Rooms are of a regular size - big enough to stay the night comfortably. They are also well equipped and comfortable - the TV has a "cast'" function, so you can cast a screen from your personal device. The bad was comfortable and there were enough power outlets. The location great - in a quiet side street, so no noise in the night. However, very close to U3 (3 min on foot) and a big Edeka, which is open until 21h. Parking is available in the underground garage and costs 12€ per night. Careful - not per day (24h) but per night, which means you need to remove your car at checkout. Since we arrived very late, the staff kindly allowed us to leave the car parked a few hours longer, since the garage was quite empty. However, if the hotel was full and mew guests would be arriving soon after our check-out, this could be impossible. Overall the staff was very very friendly.

This was one of our favourite hotels during our trip. The only downside is the parking situation - you pay the 12€ per night, meaning if you arrive at 22h and check out the next morning at 10 am, you paid the 12€ for 12h only, which is not very affordable. A 12€/24h arrangement would be more fair and convenient, but I also understand the space in the garage is limited.

Very comfortable room, easy to opt in or out of the extensive buffet -style breakfast and for a non - German speaker, all the staff were always very helpful. If you don't need your room cleaned every day, they'll donate an amount to a charity each day you don't use the service. Ideal for a short stay. This trip, the perfect location for my visit to a music festival with good dining and supermarket options nearby and quick access to the rest of Hamburg via the U- bahn, 5 mins walk away.

A very nice hotel situated within 5 minutes reach of the u-bahn station that would take you to the Rathaus in about 25-30 minutes. The stuff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean. We went by car and we parked in the hotel's parking for 2.5EUR a day, since we arrived on Sunday night and no free spots were available on the street. During the day one can easily find parking in the street.

Good location near metro/u-bahn that runs every 5 minutes. Quiet street, grocery store and bakeries nearby, as well as the Stadtpark of course. The staff is very friendly and gemütlich! Breakfast was simple, it’s very German - bread, meats, egg, dairy. It tasted good regardless, but the price of €16/person is quite high for what you get. The extensive tea offer and how the “tea station” is designed, is very nice! We really liked the variety of types and flavours. A bit more instructions on how to use exactly would be handy, because I found out later I opened the wrong jar apparently, oops :)

It was very very warm inside: the sun is burning on the windows in the early morning already. With the window completely open it cools down a bit in the night, but then the neighbours across the street can look into the room. The bathroom will basically not cool down at all, as it has no windows. The blankets are very thick and warm as well. I didn’t sleep that well because of the combination of all this, even though the beds are so comfortable! Having a (ceiling) fan in the room and/or blinds on the outside of the building would make it so much bearable; AC unit isn’t even needed then

Over all quiet comfy room, big room size, awesome price for this time of the year, comfy bed, modern architecture.

some areas of the room were a bit dusty (next to / under bed) or could have needed inspection (showerhead was unscrewed/leaking)

Clean and spacious enough for a few good days‘ stay. Good food options nearby, and public transport is also available in multiple forms

Traveling time to and from downtown Hamburg needs to be taken into consideration, but 20 minutes on the bus are no real deal breaker

Our stay at the hotel began with a lovely welcome by the receptionist, very helpful. Best first impressions. The hotel was 2 min was from a bus stop which got you directly into the city center. The hotel was very clean and the room was well maintained. Personally I was pleased to be asked whether we wanted every day clean as the hotel was eco friendly want wanted to save water etc. The breakfast had a great selection of cold foods and some hot foods. All breads were freshly warm as well. If we ever come back to Hamburg, this is definitely the hotel we will be staying at. Very pleased couple.

No cons at our stay.

Room was good. Breakfast was excellent. Public transport was ok. Restaurants were a little distant but you could walk to them.

Desk is not 24 hour but this was not a problem as we rang and the girl came and let us in.
