We were there in the off season so bar/restaurant closed. Only 5 min walk to centre of town and 10 mins walk to the new Opuke hot pools. These were excellent and a must do while in Methven especially the Adult pool with swim up bar.

The units were well equipped but some herbal tea bags would be nice. Also a small vegetable knife to go with the big one that’s there. Units a little bit noisy when the unit next door flushes the toilet or uses the shower. It’s just the way the building was built probably over 25 years ago.

We loved the view from the bar/restaurant of the sun setting over the mountains. Enjoyed mulled wine and tasty bar snacks. Room had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable.

The washing machine and dryer in hallway near our room was going until late and quite noisy. Heater couldn’t be controlled by us, seemed to be on timer and controlled centrally we thought so would be better to be able to control it ourselves.

Great apartment, comfy and warm. The room sizes were fine for holiday and the kitchen was well equiped. The ski bus picked up and dropped back to the Resort which was a plus.

It was a little compact - we had come from a more spacious apartment at our previous long stay so it took some adjusting but it was perfectly fine.

We enjoyed the location and onsite facilities. Rooms were toasty warm and super comfy beds. Having a full kitchen set up for home cooking was great too! Our dinner at the restaurant onsite was wonderful too!

Not really a space for drying / hanging / storing ski gear, but we sorted it. Stuff dried overnight with the nice warm room!

We were lucky to stay in a freshly renovated 2 bedroom apartment. Easy walk to town for dinner Made use of the hot tubs after a day skiing Staff were friendly during check in & check out Family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teens)

Maybe a laundry drying rack to help dry out ski gear (however there is a washing machine & dryer)

I liked the fact that they were flexible with check in & check out. There was no rushing which made our stay more enjoyable. We were not on the top floor as requested but really didn't matter.

Nothing not to like just would have been lovely if restaurant was open.

The bed was a little too firm for my liking but that is personal preference not a criticism

Great facilities, clean and well-supplied rooms. We stayed here before and had wifi issues, so it was really nice to find they had improved the wifi. Love the tennis court, although it could do with some maintenance work.

Rooms are compact.

Location is very convenient for mount hutt and for Ōpuke thermal pools. Big space lovely staff

Bed heaters wasn’t working properly Room heaters was very old and not worked properly. Washing machine was very dirty. Food was not quality enough as expected to the price Power was capped so couldn’t use two bathrooms at once.

Proximity to hot pools

A bit dated. No extras like Netflix or Sky and no heat pump. While the heaters were adequate it didn’t allow for instant heat when it cooled at night. we had to have the heaters up high 24/7.
