The Suites Ashburton was a last minute find and proved to be perfect for our stay. Its right opposite the A&P show grounds which is where our son was playing rugby. The staff were lovely and accommodating. They even allowed the guests to use the conference room to watch the All Blacks play Italy at the RWC 2023!

The accommodation is on the main road so a little bit of noise from the traffic. It's also a little way away from the city center but Ashburton is a small enough town to be able to easily access what is needed.

A hidden gem in Ashburton. The suite was well appointed , kitchenette facilities were excellent to do meal preparation, very comfortable beds, bathroom supplied with quality amenities. The host and hostess greeted us upon our arrival and as we left. Would definitely stay here again if traveling through! Bonus - close to the botanical garden with excellent walking and running paths - beautiful flower gardens!

Perfect location, great service, and great value for money. We really enjoyed our room at The Suites Ashburton.

The stairs might cause some difficulty for some people (our room was on the second floor), but the manager was so helpful that he helped carry all our luggages upstairs for us.

Very helpful, very friendly. As a single mother traveling with an 8 year old, a 6 year old and a 5 month old baby I really appreciated that the staff helped me with my luggage and kids so that I could settle in. Loved the suite and everything was perfect. Spa bath for the win.

Everything was perfect.

Spacious rooms and good kitchen facilities, lovely and clean too. The couple who were covering for the Managers were very pleasant and helpful

Knew about the main road, but luckily the weekend trucks were lighter than normal so only woke once with a large truck passing One comment, any chance some softer lower pillows could be put into the rooms rather than high hard ones for us oldies sore necks - thank you

The staff were professional and thoughtful. The room, kitchenette was well appointed with most necessities (lacked a tea towel). Spa bath with shower and a bathtub mat for safety. I would absolutely stay there again without hesitation if ever in Ashburton again.

No tea towel. Everything else was provided including tea, coffee, kettle, fridge, a microwave, plates, etc.

We had a 3bedroom suite, right next to a play room which suited us very well with two young boys! Clean, lots of extra blankets, a great place to stay for a few nights :) Free laundry facilities!

A couple of the windows wouldn’t seal closed properly so it was rather noisey at night.

The unit itself was spacious & surprisingly quiet. We were in Unit 205 (ground floor) right on the road practically. Very nice & had everything we required for our stay.

The TV was abit confusing & frustrating to work out to be honest

It would be better to have waste bin in the kitchen instead of having to return to the one in the bathroom. I could detect a very slight cigarette odour in the unit. The ash tray on the balcony suggests smoking is okay. It would be better to have no smoking signs in the unit and on the balcony.

Good place to stop over on the journey from Greymouth to Dunedin. Very nice staff.

The shower was not consistently hot, sometimes even completely cold again while you were showering
