On arrival, we were greeted by Bunny, who was so accommodating. He gave us a walk-through of our rooms and explained how things worked and then what was also available during our stay, eg, free use of a washing machine and only $4 to use the dryer. He would always ask if we needed anything or help and let us know ahead of time when our rooms were getting a full clean. Thanks, Bunny and the two cleaning ladies for your professional care and the work you showed us during our stay. We highly recommend this motel and will differently book it again in the future.

We didn't have any problems or concerns for the 10 days we stayed.

I liked everything about this Motel. The unit we had was lovely, beds are comfortable, even the couch in our unit was so comfortable. One thing that was good was plenty of plugs around the Unit. It was well stocked with all the amenities we needed. The owner was very pleasant and location was great for us. For the price we paid which was within our budget, I cannot fault this Motel.

We had a spa bath but unfortunately did not get time to enjoy it as we only stayed the one night.

We stopped here at the last minute and I'm so glad we did. The 'room' was more of a suite, with separate double bedroom, bathroom and lounge/kitchenette areas. In addition to the provision of fresh milk(!) a major bonus was the guest laundry facilities with free use of their washing machines (including powder) and only a small cost to use the dryer. The local takeaway places and restaurants are only a short drive away.

The bed was a little too hard for us (but this is such a personal preference it would be impossible to accommodate everyone's needs).

I loved the little aparment room i was in. Very spacious, clean and tidy. Staff were amazing. The location of the motel is perfect where it is. I would definitely go back again. I am a very happy customer☺️

Everything was amazing, from the staff too the room. I had an amazing experience, i would definetly 100% recommend Regency motel too anyone and everyone who are looking for a place to stay the night or weekend or week or just a little getaway. Regency motel is the place☺️.

Although we are not physically disabled, the spacious unit we stayed in was quite well set up for someone in a wheelchair, with an excellent wet-floor shower and accessible toilet. The kitchen area however, had 'normal' height benches which would be difficult for someone in a wheelchair. Good cooking facilities with a microwave, and 2 hobs. The double bed was very comfortable

This motel is a little out from the main town but walking distance to a good Monteiths bar/restaurant. We had parking right outside our door, the unit was very big with everything you would need and more, very well stocked. The bathroom was large and there was a separate main bedroom, good sized lounge/dining area also. We slept well as was very quite being away from the main road. Suited our requirements.

Not much we didnt like, maybe just not being walking distance to town. If we had been staying longer would have meant driving everywhere.

Comfortable bed, good shower pressure, clock on microwave was set to correct time. Owner moved us to a unit with an oven as we had non-microwavable food to heat on arrival. Excellent communication with motel - they immediately responded to a query I made the day before arrival. One bedroom unit was spacious. Heat pump kept us warm for the short times we were in residence over the weekend. Location very handy to function that we attended over the weekend.

Could do with a spruce up - is a little bit knocked around the edges.

This was our second time back and will be back again regularly.10/10 Can't fault anything. The room was absolutely spotless. We have stayed in a lot of different motels in Ashburton and this is by far the best.The staff went over and above to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Also family orientated which we love because we had a surprise visit from our grandchildren one being a new born. We can't speak highly enough of this motel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Arriving after 2 very long flights I found I had made a mistake with my booking. The staff on reception were exceptionally kind and helpful and managed to sort out the problem at no extra cost to myself. Good location for traveling on state highway 1. Spacious apartment, added bonus of a pool.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. We were moving from Ashburton so had a lot of luggage. We had expected to move unit during our stay but the owner organised for us to stay put...so extra praise for that. Unit had everything we needed. Very good location and quiet.
