We had a comfy King-sized bed, with plenty of room around the bed that didn't impact on the rest of the room, we also had room for our luggage without it being a trip hazard when trying to access your clothes etc. The bathroom facilities were very good, and you always remember a good shower, and our shower was great. You also remember if the place you stay in is clean and we were very pleased to see that our room and bathroom were very clean, but also the entire complex was at the same high standard. All the staff seemed to be very proud of the Hotel, and this showed in their friendly caring treatment to us. My wife and I really enjoyed our evening dinner, the other guests also seemed very happy and raved about their meal to us, which was great free advertising, and our waitress was so nice and helpful, it really did make our night.

It was raining when we arrived and into the evening, so we couldn't check out the large grounds, and didn't take any photos, which was a shame.

loved how smooth the check in process was. the guy working that day was super friendly. also cracked some jokes with us. loved that there was parking everywhere especially near our rooms. rooms were beautiful and always clean. had the best time there. my aircon broke down and I was taken care of straight away. the restaurant was amazing and so was the breakfast buffet. exceptional service given at the hotel! will definitely be staying there again when I visit Ashburton again

We were there when it had very cold days. The heat pump was never turned off. The bed was comfortable and the shower was OK. Receptionist made a great pot of tea. We had breakfast each day which set us up for the rest of the day.

Squeaky floor boards when moving around the room. We only had the one evening meal during the stay which we found not enjoyable.

We had deluxe king and it was a nice size room and faced inwards to the gardens. The sun shone on opening the curtains in the morning which was great Comfy pillows, bed was medium comfort (not too hard or soft). We had the breakfast inhouse in the morning in restaurant. Very good value - $21 for a cooked buffet breakfast, $27 for full buffet with cereals and fruit etc, or you can just have continental for cheaper. Breakfast buffet was very delicious. Good to get from our room at one end to the other end and conference room internally. Plenty of good parking

It took me ages to find the wifi password. It was advertised everywhere on posters as free but password was only listed on a small card on the room folder!

Comfy bed, decent bathroom facilities. Was only a stopover for me so it had all the important things covered including split system in the room which was definitely appreciated as it was pretty warm when I was there.

Seemed odd that the fridge in the room was not switched on prior to my arrival so it was pretty much of no use which was a minor inconvenience as I was travelling with things that needed to be kept cool.

Loved staying here!! So comfortable and the restaurant food is PHENOMENAL!!! Big shout out to the chefs. The pool is also fab, did some laps in the morning.

The waitresses seemed quite stressed one night but I don't think they were expecting such large numbers that night. Would have been good to have another waitress on to help with the busyness. They were still really nice though :)

Good location, clean, availability of nice food in the bar.

There was no soap or shampoo in the dispensers next to the shower. One takes this for granted in accommodation. I didn’t discover it until the morning of my departure when I stepped into the shower and discovered the bad news. Too late to ask staff to fill them.

The shower pressure bit crap and not really adequate height for 6foot man or 5.8 woman , you couldn’t turn tv up as only one remote for sky and when went to reception because there is no phone in room the lady at the desk was so helpful and said there should have been another remote 🤦🏽‍♀️

Got a bit lost finding our room initially and didn't realize there was a shorter way after we had dined in the Restaurant... Meal was lovely ( massive). Staff were lovely... A one stop shop with a Sports Bar TAB and Pokies. We'll stay again..and the Gardens were lovely to see as well.

The meal at restaurant both nights was great, my daughter and I really enjoyed our meals, plus nice staff thanks. Great room, had everything we needed!! It's nice looking out into garden, plus we had the cute Black & White cat at door for a wee pat :)

The bathroom, just the shower door and shower head could do with a little fit, that's all everything else was good.
