Good location on East St and easy to find when driving south into Ashburton. The complex is built around a garden courtyard allowing easy access, good sun and pleasant views. The room was very spacious, comfy sofa and beds, and all looking in good order. Pet friendly operation which was key for us, relocating with a cat. Would definitely stay again when in Ashburton. 10 / 10

The freight trains do come through Ashburton and East Street at all hours 2 to 3 times a night, and do sound like thunder for 10 to 15 secs .. but this is true for ALL motels on the strip and honestly was not a major issue.

We never had breakfast so no comment there. The location was great heading into Ashburton from Christchurch. Rated the lighting down as the bulb over the bed was not working.Staff were very friendly on arrival and made us feel welcome.

We had no problems with our accommodation. Did feel that a brochure stating what eating places were open and available would be helpful, as there is some off the main street and on a dark rainy night we had no idea where to look for restaurants.

Fantastic!!! When I asked for different bed configuration we got upgraded to another unit ! No problem for them even though it was extremely busy with sports teams staying with a tournament in town. Brilliant unit, comfortable, full kitchen, Couldn't have enjoyed my stay more

No sky !! Lol but I guess the rugby world cup is only every 4 yrs and I ended up having to be at stadium same time anyway!! And no bottle opener for my cider 😆

Our room was very comfortable, with the heater providing a suitable level of heat when the evenings got cold. We slept well in the warm and comfortable bed. There was adequate hot water for showers, and the bathroom facilities were very clean. The kitchen had everything we required for doing breakfasts and supper - we didn't try the cooking facilities.

Some floor settlement has resulted in the bathroom door jamming before it closes fully, but we did not find this to be a problem which concerned us unduly.

Location was central for our requirements. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and we even got an upgrade on our room

Being in winter it took a while to heat the room with the heater that was there

Great location, just out of the town centre. Large studio room, and really comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. No air con, but a super efficient heater which had the room warm in no time.

TV reception was really crappy, but it was a very stormy night, which no doubt impacted on that. Water pressure in the shower could have been a bit stronger. Otherwise, all good :-)

The hosts went above and beyond. Went out of their way to ease my partners mind in keeping his boat safe. And as we were checking in late made sure our room was all set to go without any hassle. Could not recommend a better place to stay

Everything was great

The lady who runs the accomedation was very lovely and even though the booking system put me in the wrong (but upgraded) room, she let me have it at no additional cost. It was what I need for the night, but there were 2 small downsides. 1. Decor is dated and it was raining and the property is a little away from the center city of restaurants. Overall very pleased 😄

The staff were super friendly and the unit was lovely and clean. Very comfortable beds and great hot water pressure. Really lovely about our dogs staying. Will stay again for sure.

We were given a small studio room in the older section of the motel, adjacent to Reception. Whilst a small room it was adequate to our needs. This room appeared to have been renovated somewhat recently with new carpet and vinyl flooring and was very neat and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was also access to cable channels included.

There was nothing about our stay here to dislike.
