really clean and well presented. nice finishing touches, like the cute pillow on the bed, bathmat in a bow, clean container on the bench for food scraps and coffee grounds. the heat pump was on for our arrival and the WiFi password was made to be my name. really friendly greeting. real, fresh milk in re usable jars. great to have sky TV for kids movies, they loved it. lovely wee garden setting out the back of each unit. kids and adults loved the separation of rooms. good internet, easy access to plugs, decent sized dining table. great stay.

that we couldn't stay longer and use the family facilities such as swimming pool, trampoline, swings etc (very heavy rain and a short visit)

This motel completely exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The shower had great water pressure and was pleasantly hot. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful little details throughout the room, like the bowtie in the shower and the bouquet-shaped toilet paper. The yard had a pool and trampoline, perfect for family outings, and the trees in the yard were beautiful. The location was excellent, very close to the city center.

Beautiful grounds, gardening and swimming pool. Also, Jason was happy to be rung at 10:30 at night about the extractor fan that wouldn't shut off.

There was an odd humming noise at night that seemed to be coming from other units. Jason, who had only recently acquired the business, was going to look into this. There was also an issue with the extractor fan that was solved by turning off one of the breakers. Again Jason was going to look into this, and it is probably already solved.

Great clean rooms with all the things we needed. Staff were the friendliest and very helpful. The pool was a hit with the kids even tho it was so cold outside they still gave it a go a few times. This is out second stay here and we Will stay here again.

The beds were quite small. My 6ft4 partner had trouble sleeping. Ventilation on rainy days was hard as everything felt damp but once the heatpump heated up it was a bit better.

Great location in a great little town as an ideal stopover prior to flying out of Christchurch the next morning with about a 2 hour drive. Spacious fully equipped 2 bedroom apartment. Justin the operator was happy cheerful and very helpful comfy beds and an awesome hot shower with great water pressure. Excellent value for money would definitely stay again. Easy 10 minutes walk into the town centre.

All good no complaintd

Welcoming owner on arrival, spacious well laid out room with extra seating, heat pump & gas hot water so our stay was great! Units are back off the road so lovely and quiet. Access to grass back area with seating as well as chairs out front of unit was good too. Full kitchen if you were wantjng to cook but we dined at the local not far away which was nice. Very comfortable stay & would highly recommend. Thank you!

Impressed with the amenities. The room has everything you need. It's also very tidy and comfy. Staffs also very friendly.

Our neighbours were quite loud all night, only stopped for a couple of hours during the dawn. They seemed to have a gathering or something with a number of people leaving the door opened. I know it's not the motel's fault but I wonder if anything could be done at all to make sure the other guests have a nice rest (at least past midnight). We're a bit too scared to contact the owners to let them know, fearing the neighbour guests would get angry at us (several of them, and just two of us).

Room was ultra clean with all the expected facilities. Very comfortable with all the amenities for the elderly as peer our request. Very conveniently situated about 20 mins walk out of the town. Staff is brilliant and motel highly recommended. Would definitely suggest the Royal India restaurant for a meal in town.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Nice staff! Her dog Mallie (not sure if the spelling is right) greeted us during checkin and checkout. Great location and comfortable accommodation

Wish more devices could use the wifi. The wifi only allowed four devices for each room and I think it couldnt be changed. It was quite inconvenient as our group had five ppl, not to mentioned we also use multiple devices

Fantastic all round! From the moment we checked in, to the moment we left. Fantastic clean and spacious rooms with everything we needed. The pool and trampoline were a massive hit, along with the sky TV boxes. Night was quiet, walking distance to the centre. We will be back I'm sure!

I have nothing to put here! Honestly, everyone who was with us agrees - it was just fab
