Clean, newly renovated room with new carpet and oven etc. Great having full kitchen facilities. Beds were really comfy. Heater was quick to work and heated the place really well. Owners were friendly and happy to help. Location was handy to the city.

No fan in the kitchen (or bathroom). Instructions to open the door when cooking, but weather was freezing so that was impractical for cooking dinner for 30 minutes. While we were fine with being road front because we're good sleepers, a light sleeper might struggle with road noise.

A well suited Unit that accommodated our needs for the days we stayed, very Friendly Hosts, welcomed us upon arrival, and made sure our stay was pleasant, with all the other activities occurring around the roads., The windows are Double glazed which cut down the traffic noise no end, a welcome relief.

Road Repairs being undertaken outside the motel, with parking restrictions and speed control in place that didint deter traffic from reducing speed at all, with seal drop offs creating loud bangs through the night, as vehicles mounted them.

The motel is of an age, clean, comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.

We arrived before 2 pm as the weather prevented us from any activities. The stern hostess shook her head and said 2 o'clock, no further discussion. On return a silent hostess, cleared her desk, then looked up and waited for me to speak. After my friendly good afternoon and giving her my details, her only response was, if we wanted some milk in the room and internet. No further discussion. The notices in the room regarding cooking, smoking or spitting and extra charges for staying after checkout time per hour or even part of an hour!

Plenty of room . Comfortable beds . Very clean . Room service made beds and changed towels every day . Powerful shower . Central location .

Toilet shower access through the bedroom , for the person sleeping in the lounge . Okay for bunch of same sex friends , but maybe not so good if you were a couple sleeping in the double bed bedroom with a mate in the lounge .

This is a budget motel and dated. But, it is affordable, the managers are easy to deal with, it is close to town, easy to get to, roomy enough and well enough furnished. Furniture is old, but it is clean and presentable and carpet is new. Bedroom is at back of unit so quiet enough for sleeping even though the front of the unit is on the highway. I would recommend for anyone needing an affordable place for an extended stay.

It was good and as expected. Parking is tight and the entrance off the highway is tight, but once you get accustomed to it, it is fine. No complaints, given price is budget (for Timaru).

Handy walking distance to the main centre I thought it was going to be real noisy with the traffic at night in bed but no it was good as we had the road side rooms

The door was hard to open to get inside so had to get the manager to show us But after that it was no problem It was only minor

Recently refurbished so lovely and fresh and clean. Needed an iron and this was set up in the laundry room for me. Good location with supermarket and food outlets 10mins walk away and beach about 15mins walk. A little bit noisy as right on the road but bedroom was on the back luckily. Lovely, friendly hosts.

Had a lovely stay, for a last minute booking while traveling unexpectedly. It was super easy the room was fantastic the kids liked there was a room up stairs. If we need to split a trip again we will definitely stay again, great value for a family of 5.

Only thing I woke a couple of times to the next room running the tap, Other than that fantastic

Really large rooms. Sitting room/kitchen, bedroom and shower all great size.

Parking area was a bit small, turning round especially, although to be fair there are two exits so you don't need to turn round. Bit strange that the wash basin was at the foot of the bed, but not a problem as I was alone.

The owners were awesome. Really nice and friendly. They were still at the office when we arrived in late which made things easier for us (Probably not easier for them but it was appreciated). The room was nice and warm for us which was also very much appreciated because I had two very tired children with me and it was a cold night.

There was nothing that I didn't like.
