This was a fantastic location between Caroline Bay and not overly far from Christchurch. The room was cleaned each day with the milk replenished which was a good surprise. The rooms are back from the street so you don't get the noise of traffic. Great information in the room about local places for food.

Honestly just nitpicking really but it would of been good to have more sky channels as one evening it was raining and there wasn't anything decent to watch on tv.

The people that run this place are lovely! They treat you like family. We booked a family unit. Definitely great value for money, the rooms had plenty of space and had all the comforts of home. We will definitely stay here again. Free wifi was a hit with the teens. Heat pump in the room helped us stay warm as the weather cools. And everything was incredibly clean! Thank you!

My only issue was being able to get comfortable properly, but that has more to do with my health issues than the room itself. This place is more comfortable than most places I have stayed that cost way more. My only suggestion would be to have a few different pillow options, some softer some firmer. Or if your body is a bit more sensitive bring your own. There was plenty of spare blankets/pillows.

Clean tidy all the amenities provided. Comfortable bed 🛌 which is extremely important alongside the shower pressure and hot water. The walk-in shower is great for my elderly mum, plus having the seat to sit down while washing herself. Bonus away from noisey traffic. Go to place for next time 2 thumbs 👍 up

It is spotlessly clean. The owners are typical friendly helpful welcoming Kiwi hosts. The room are large, well laid out with a very adequate kitchen and a great bathroom. Parking was easy with heaps of room. The grounds are very well maintained. In fact there was absolutely nothing to dislike.

It was perfect.

We loved that our unit was furnished more like a home than a sterile hotel. All units ground floor with parking in front. It was such a treat to be able to prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchenette. Impeccably clean, roomy, homey, would that all motels could be this enjoyable.

great hosts, very friendly and helpfull

The electrics in the kitchen were a bit unsafe, think it would have been better if a power board was used. No small knife in cutlery drawer. would have liked a small rubbish bin in the bathroom .Great hairdryer but no plug for it in the bathroom.

Motel room was very clean and plenty of sun

There was alot of condensation, but it was frosty nearly every day. When we arrived back from our day's activities the motel had no condensation. Just an overnight issue.

Easily accessible with the ramp

The shower stool broke and if my grandson wasn’t there to help me I would of had to call an ambulance to help me up which I couldn’t of done because there was no emergency button, cord or phone in the disability bathroom

The unit is clean with a great ambiance. Also, Julie the owner is very accommodating and friendly.

The towels are not that smells good and no trash bins in the bathroom but it's not a biggie at all, we managed it during our stay

Property and rooms were clean and comfortable. Julie was fantastic, coming out to greet us as we arrived and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

No tv in the bedroom, not a big deal just something we both enjoy having.
