Clean, comfortable and extremely quiet considering the proximity to a busy highway. The woman working in reception was very helpful and through in discussing both local attractions and restaurants and also our future travel plans. The only negative was some sort of thumping sound in the middle of the night.coming from what I thought was the room above us. However in the morning we noticed we were on the top floor 🤔 One last note: We checked out of our room and walked a short distance for Brekky. When we returned we found the travel guide book we had left in our room wrapped in a moisture proof bag and stowed under the windshield. Kudos for the awesome customer service!

We were able to watch the new years fireworks over Caroline Bay from the balcony of our room :) Our beds were comfortable, the spa bath was wonderful and we had everything we needed in our kitchenette.

Nothing to complain about. Although my husband got locked out from the building when he went out after midnight to drop off someone. I had to let him in. Not sure if our room key was able to open the front door of the building and we didn’t find out since I was able to come down from our room to let him in.

The property is well kept and welcoming with spacious car parking out the front. Our host was welcoming and shared local knowledge of penguin sightings to visit and good eateries nearby. Our room was very fresh looking, spacious and full of light and superbly clean. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. Easy walking access to Caroline Bay across the road. It was nice to have views across Caroline Bay and to be well back off the main road. The units are very quiet so have excellent window glazing.

The manager greeted us and was very helpful. She recommended we visit the penguins on the shoreline. The whole place was modern and well-maintained. The unit had comfortable beds and a sofa. The balcony had a sea view. The room had an air-conditioner. Very good bathroom with the option of a spa bath and walk-in shower. The kitchen had a microwave and was well-equipped. It was very quiet- no traffic noise!

If you have mobility issues you are probably best to ask for a downstairs unit.

The studio was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. The wifi was good as was the air conditioning. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was a good central location and there was onsite parking. We chose the economical internal studio as we were only staying one night; the sea front apartments with balconies looked lovely and we would choose one of these next time.

The internal studio was a little claustrophobic, with the only windows being above the bed. There were no options for recycling rubbish and the toiletries could have been presented in a more sustainable way.

The room had a view of the sea and even though the motel was on the main road there was no traffic noise in the room. The bed was so comfortable too. Will certainly be staying there again.

The only thing we would have appreciated is stronger reading lamps by the bed, but there is a main light switch at the bed so it wasn't really a problem

Good value for money, friendly helpful staff, parking in front of the room, accessible to restaurants and close to beach to take a walk to the lighthouse or to see the penguins in the evening. We happened to be there while the carnival nearby took place.

Sanitary rooms a bit outdated but absolutely clean

We liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The whole property was well designed and well cared for. The room was very clean and well-equipped. There was a wide view of the bay from our 1st-floor room and balcony. The large corner bath was easy to use because it had a seat.

Everything was lovely - we'd go back to this motel.

The location was excellent for our needs, we've stayed before, and liked it, so there was no problem with staying there again. Also the cleanliness is really first class.

Just the microwave was a bit too high up for me to reach easily. (That's because of my problem, really, being bent over)!

Size and room configuration and cleanliness and warmth

Parking ' very clear signage that there was one park per room and we had two cats on second night so knew we would have to park one on the road - however there were trucks and car trailers taking up most parks second night so we all had to park on the road - seems unfair. My husband has traveled with cars on trailers before and he know that he likely has to park o the road. The great and easy parking at Bay Viaduct is one of the reasons I always book Bay Viaduct as have stayed there multiple times. Also when we went for swim meet in the morning I turned down heat pump to low as knew girls would need to be warm when we got back but when we returned at lunch it was off and windows open and we were cold
