The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and accomodating and professional. The cleaning staff really went the extra mile and any small requests or issues were raised and resolved completely very quickly.

The location is very convenient to everything and felt safe, however, it was right on a very main road as as such there was a bit of noise from traffic especially heavy trucks and trains that come through infrequently at night. The sound proofing in the room is very very good but if you are a light sleeper you may want to use earplugs as well. I'd still stay here again in a heartbeat, the small noise issue was not a problem given the quality of the rooms and staff.

This motel was located above Caroline Bay within easy walking distance of the beach, gardens, tracks, aquatic centre and supermarket. The room was well soundproofed - essential in this part of Timaru, as SH1 runs right through the town. Everything was lovely and clean, with a good shower. The wifi was fine, and recycling was available.

There was definitely no harbour view from our room, and there was nowhere to sit outside. The price was on the high side for this type of accommodation.

I didn't get the breakfast, but was happy to be able to use the small kitchenette for the week. The spa bath was brilliant, the bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains were ideal. The parking was excellent, loaction fantastic, very spacious and felt like a little bit of luxury in a very busy week. It felt safe and secure.

The spa was very noisy to use - I worried I was disturbing the neighbours with a late night soak. Kitchenette could do with an extractor fan. The 'Harbour View' was virtually non-existent, and the noise from the main highway meant sitting on the balcony was less than peaceful. I also didn't realise the seating was on a shared balcony (where my table and chairs were borrowed one day and never returned by the neighbours...). No one was in the office when I arrived, and I had to ring twice before someone came to check me in.

Great location across the street from Caroline Bay. Very friendly staff at the front desk arranged for us to have a room with a view for a two-night stay. The room was clean and spacious -- we were delighted to see a separate living room and kitchenette separated from the bedroom with a door.

It's a motel, so the rooms all face a busy highway with a lot of traffic noise. The windows and doors are double-paned, so it's not that bad when everything is closed, but we prefer to sleep with the window open for ventilation and fresh air. The room smelled like air freshener/cleaning supplies and we would have preferred no carpet.

Great location opposite the park where the festival was taking place. Good size sitting area with sofa, table and chairs and kitchenette. King size bed was extremely comfortable so we slept well. Bathroom had a great shower. Everything was squeaky clean. The motel is on the main road but quiet at night. Guest laundry available, 10 dollars for wash and dry including detergent. Would recommend this place.

Kate was very accommodating, she allowed us to have a late arrival and even waited back at the office to greet us. Knowing we were coming from Australia she warmed the room so when we arrived we were nice and warm, she also supplied us with extra blanket for the bed and couch. The room was equipped with all your cooking equipment with is a great touch for those long stays and reduce the added cost of eating out whilst on holidays.

Excellent facilities and having air-con helped to keep the room comfortable. The location is great and within walking distance to Caroline Bay and the town centre and close to supermarkets.

The sound on the TVs was not great and this is a minor detail but the white lighting throughout was harsh. We ended up using the lamps with softer lighting.

Very central, on the road into Timaru, close to the centre of town. Two rooms with a separate bedroom so great space, also as it was on a noisy main road this made the sleeping space very quiet. Friendly and helpful owner, even made us espresso coffee one morning! Warm and cozy despite being wet and windy outside.

Great location. Clean, modern, roomy, and beds and pillows very comfy. Good daily service. When the door is shut there is no road noise at all. The outlook over Caroline bay is nice. We enjoyed seeing the traffic and trains go past.

Clean,spacious and well positioned. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Close to town and restaurants Would highly recommend it as a great place to stay. Although this motel is beside a busy highway, it is well soundproofed and quiet for sleeping as the bedroom is separate and located away from the road.
