Spacious, modern, clean units. Gives a small bottle of milk enough for coffee, tea and cereal (instead of the miserly mini pottles of milk which some other motels give). Plenty of parking and easy entry and exit to the property.

Hosts could improve on being more friendly and welcoming. When I enquired about why the unit I was given was a studio upstairs and did not look like the 1 bedroom ground floor unit in the photo in Booking.com which I selected to book, the male host was argumentative and defensive. Thankfully the lady host took over to listen to my query, and later offered to move us the next day to the original unit I booked as that unit was occupied that first night. Downside to the motel is the upstairs units are up a long flight of stairs which may not be suitsble for those who are less fit to carry their luggage up & down the steps.

Location was good. Very central. Room was nice and spacious, lots of room. Bathroom was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No air conditioning in the room. I guess summer is super-hot in Timaru and a portal fan in the room didn't do anything except make the room warmer so had to leave the balcony sliding door open, all windows open too, though not ideal when the neighbours are so close by and can see right through the room.

Perfect size for a couple with a toddler. Our daughter loved the room, and we loved the shower great water pressure. Unfortunately our toddler hurt her eye while we stayed, completely out of anyone’s control, but we were able to get help from the owners and everything turned out okay. 100% we would stay again

Nothing really we had a great holiday

The room was spacious and very quiet, great parking, beds were comfortable, good sized fridge/freezer, nice bathroom although water pressure in shower could be better but it was still lovely. Heat pump was great and quick and warmed room up very quickly. Staff were lovely and very accommodating I have stayed at this motel many times over the years and will continue to come back as I truly find it to be the best motel in timaru.

Lack of smart TV so unable to sign into Netflix etc as no movie channels available on sky but thats only a tiny complaint. Would have been nice to have the room service meals available 7 days a week not just Monday thru Friday Would also be convenient to have ice available on request if required.

The room was very spacious, nicely laid out and had great views. The spa bath was lovely, amd the bed comfy. The kitchen was well equipped

Some of the interior could use updating, such as the couch. The wall heater didn't work so we borrowed an electric one. The facilities could use a little tlc

This motel is in a central location, close to parks, hospital, town centre, and supermarkets. It has spacious rooms, which are comfortable and clean.

The mattress on the bed was starting to show a bit of age and sagged in the middle.

My teenage son and I had a brilliant stay. we had a 2br unit which was incredibly spacious. I had a warm greeting. The rooms were immaculately clean, the beds super comfortable, a full kitchen with everything you need and tvs and desks in every room. Loved the genuine effort to provide good rubbish recycling in the kitchen. We were really impressed and would highly recommend this motel.

The outlook over neighbouring houses was a little unusual but nothing major - the property is slightly out of the main centre (no problem with a car or a walk on a nice day).

It was huge!!! Having a full size kitchen with oven full size fridge and dishwasher when travelling with 4 kids is fabulous. There was enough room and tv’s that there was no fights and we as parents felt like we could chill out when the kids were asleep and enjoy the facilities

Great rooms, plenty of space to spread out and a great private balcony. Very clean and well presented with a good rubbish/recycling system in place also. Suite had everything needed and the bonus of a spa bath. Highly recommended place.

Last minute booking we had and we were tight with schedule but the staff were amazing and made things run smoothly for us from checking in to ensuring we had the best experience and did not feel rushed to check in and out. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Definitely would go back there to stay.
