The code for front door given by booking.com was incorrect so we probably looked a bit suss trying to get in. Called the number on email confirmation and spoke to a very helpful chap (Troy) who confirmed our booking and gave us the correct code, room key was in a lock box which he also gave us the code for. He was awesome. This place is awesome, clean and smelt good. Has large common areas and decent kitchen, did i mention how clean and fresh it was!! our room was great. We had our own seperate shower and toilet in room, plus a big fridge... and a bag of lollies on some nice fluffy towels folded very cute on the foot of bed. Was walking distance to where we had booked for dinner, everything was just perfect, even the water pressure in the huge shower.. Seriously nothing to dislike here at all. Will certainly recommend and will be number one choice if we're ever back for a stay in Timaru town. Thanks for the stay at Stay. A+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

location was great. Good walking access to food.

A man in the unit next to us kept opening and shutting his door and was riding a scooter all around the carpeted areas for about two hours 8-10pm. Needy people in units like this need to know there is on-site supervision.

Everything was warm and cosy and very clean. This location was perfect, the house itself has a very homey feel to it. The house manager was very accommodating and welcoming to making me feel at home. The long term residents were lovely and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay with really nice common areas and large fully equipped kitchen. Lively decor with famous quotes on walls. Easy check in and out. Very responsive staff. Will definitely look to stay again when in Timaru.

the rooms were clean and warm

the incense was to much and over powering. There is more info needed on their website, eg what the facilities housed, like cutterly, jug toaster etc. and more photos of the rooms and stating it has a TV, towels etc..

The cleanest room I had after 5 weeks in NZ! Nicely decorated. Thank you. Location within living houses, but in 5-10min walk you are in the "mainstreet". The accomodation has different tables, sofas and even a terrace where you can spend time.

Some other guests left their dirthy dishes in the kitchen...

Beds are a little small and need an extra pillow or two, however everything is clean and tidy, and Stay Timaru is walking distance to shops, beach and all delightful local coffee shops
