This was a pleasant surprise. The layout of the complex was very good with a garden at the rear and lots of greenery. Inside the studio room, the layout worked really well with a lot of nice extra touches, including a work area and a kitchenette. The bed was super comfy, and it was very restful. The bathroom was well laid out with a super shower The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Comfortable bed (which is a massive for us travelling all the time). Good blackout curtains. Facilities were as they should be. Plenty of channels on the tv and the tv being placed well in the room. Excellent water pressure and temperature with the shower. The owners are friendly and relaxed. Double glazed windows etc etc etc. Will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Ashburton.

Easy to find. Staff were able to swap an upstairs room for a downstairs room. Very clean and comfortable. Water pressure was fantastic.

The shower head was useless. It could not be adjusted. To run off cold before getting in meant that the floor got soaked. Once in, the water went out in all directions and not down to wash off soap. The fine spray became a mist. For this reason only, I would avoid this motel. The owners need to change to a flexible hose shower head.

The room and the bathroom were very clean. House keeping on a daily basis. Location is very convenient.

I had a special request regarding my out of normal hours check-in which wasn’t paid attention to. The management refunded my first night because of that. I had an enjoyable stay overall.

Great value for money. Easy check in and out process. Great location and walking distance from multiple food options. Just off the main road but could barely hear the traffic once in the room. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Reception provided some milk for tea and coffee on check in which was much appreciated.

We have come to depend on Bella Vista Motels since travelling in New Zealand, and stay at them when there is availability. The cleanliness and facility maintenance is always top notch, thus we know we can count on a clean, comfortable room for a reasonable price. Addionally, the rooms have more than the basics for amenities, which is a nice feature.

We were only there for one night and didn't find anything disagreeable.

staff were super friendly. Nothing was a problem, lady on reception was an employers dream not sure if she was the owner but a true superstar at dealing with people. The room we had was spotlessly clean with attention to detail .

Bathroom ceiling extractor was very loud . Might just need a good clean inside by removing the ceiling grill or perhaps some lubricate. Worst case need replaced. Not a big problem just routine maintance.

This was such a lovely comfortable place to stay, wish I had known about Bella Vista earlier I would have booked more for this trip. Rooms are clean and spacious, bed is comfortable, ample kitchen and bathroom facilities and convenient outdoor space. Onsite car parking and easy check in. 10/10 would stay again.

The room was very clean and the bed was firm and comfortable. It’s great value for money. The motel is located on the west street, about 10mins walking distance to the Millhouse Kitchen and Robert Harries cafe, about 15mins walking distance to the Domain park.

The motel is right next to the State Highway 1, which was quite noisy at night due to the X’mas heavy traffic.
