We stopped here at the last minute and I'm so glad we did. The 'room' was more of a suite, with separate double bedroom, bathroom and lounge/kitchenette areas. In addition to the provision of fresh milk(!) a major bonus was the guest laundry facilities with free use of their washing machines (including powder) and only a small cost to use the dryer. The local takeaway places and restaurants are only a short drive away.

The bed was a little too hard for us (but this is such a personal preference it would be impossible to accommodate everyone's needs).

I loved the little aparment room i was in. Very spacious, clean and tidy. Staff were amazing. The location of the motel is perfect where it is. I would definitely go back again. I am a very happy customer☺️

Everything was amazing, from the staff too the room. I had an amazing experience, i would definetly 100% recommend Regency motel too anyone and everyone who are looking for a place to stay the night or weekend or week or just a little getaway. Regency motel is the place☺️.

This motel is a little out from the main town but walking distance to a good Monteiths bar/restaurant. We had parking right outside our door, the unit was very big with everything you would need and more, very well stocked. The bathroom was large and there was a separate main bedroom, good sized lounge/dining area also. We slept well as was very quite being away from the main road. Suited our requirements.

Not much we didnt like, maybe just not being walking distance to town. If we had been staying longer would have meant driving everywhere.

Comfortable bed, good shower pressure, clock on microwave was set to correct time. Owner moved us to a unit with an oven as we had non-microwavable food to heat on arrival. Excellent communication with motel - they immediately responded to a query I made the day before arrival. One bedroom unit was spacious. Heat pump kept us warm for the short times we were in residence over the weekend. Location very handy to function that we attended over the weekend.

Could do with a spruce up - is a little bit knocked around the edges.

This was our second time back and will be back again regularly.10/10 Can't fault anything. The room was absolutely spotless. We have stayed in a lot of different motels in Ashburton and this is by far the best.The staff went over and above to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Also family orientated which we love because we had a surprise visit from our grandchildren one being a new born. We can't speak highly enough of this motel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Arriving after 2 very long flights I found I had made a mistake with my booking. The staff on reception were exceptionally kind and helpful and managed to sort out the problem at no extra cost to myself. Good location for traveling on state highway 1. Spacious apartment, added bonus of a pool.

Great location for parkrun. Nice looking outside with a red bench. The whole space was clean & really well done. Big living room with large well equipped kitchen. Huge bathroom. Loved it. Great value for money. They let us stay a bit later too.

I would have loved a bedside table and lamp next to the single bed.

The Gentleman at the Front Desk, was Super Welcoming. He Showed Us to Our One bedroom Apartment, which , We found was a lot larger, than Other Motels We had stay At . Everything was Nice & Clean , Large Bed was Super Comfy , Bathroom, very Rommy and great Water Pressure in the Shower. We will Definitely will Return. Thanku 😊

Basic room with all the necessary amenities, enough space to open two big suitcases and still be able to move around. Nice, modern bathroom. The heating system works well and fast. Easily accessible from the main road. Parking spot in front of the room. Good value for money.

A warm and welcoming facility. The family that greeted us were so friendly, especially the two young girls that were such a delight and a great help. A basic, just what you need stay. Exceptionally clean! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Look forward to staying again.
