Our 4th visit and we always look forward to our stay. The village is so lovely to walk round. We travel with a small dog and this hotel allows dogs in the restaurant. Rooms basic but good, bathrooms basic as well but clean. Great outside areas for the dogs and us to have a drink in the garden before lunch or dinner. Food is excellent, we always have the same after long drive from Calais. Steak is great and burger delicious!

I'm not sure the restaurant staff this time were as attentive as usual. The restaurant was quite busy but sadly service slow and perhaps more training about the menu and also to serve gin or vodka or similar with ice and lemon or at least offer with the order as opposed to bringing glass with a shot of vodka and a tonic. I'm fussy.

We had a twin room. V comforable on ground floor. Clean. No fridge in room. Clean bathroom. Nice towels. Dog friendly in rooms and in dining room. Lovely dining room meal in the evening. Very secure parking with big gates. Take time to walk around the village as its is very pretty with lots to see and good local bar!

Staff in the dining room could have been trained better - Food is good. Large gin and tonic arrived as a single with no ice or lemon and no tonic! Nice enough though. Don't book for a romantic dinner as lighting very harsh.

Because we were on our way to Italy our priority was a good value for one night. Once we got there, we realized we were staying in a very charming place with an outstanding location. It greatly exceeded our expectations The breakfast was a great touch. Lots of variety and quality options. Very very charming for a great one night option

Charming hotel with a decent buffet breakfast and delicious restaurant for dinner with local produce. The reception staff and chef were very welcoming and helpful which made our stay really wonderful. The garden is a nice relaxing area. The location was lovely in a pretty little village. Definitely recommend this hotel and will keep it in mind for our future visits.

The shower needs some modernization and the carpet in our room was stained which gave an unclean impression although it was vacuumed. Better attention by housekeeping would be appreciated as there was no shower gel on the last 2 days.

Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and helped us find a restaurant for dinner as the restaurant at the hotel was closed. Our room was clean, a good size, and had tea and coffee making facilities. We had our small dog, and the hotel was perfect for our dog. The village was very pretty. Secure parking.

Lovely welcome on arrival. The receptionist coped well with my limited French and we managed to book for dinner in the bistro. The room was lovely and clean and cool despite the outdoor temperature - we didn't need to use the air-con! Bed was very comfortable. Outside there is a courtyard and a garden with deck chairs dotted around to relax and drink in the peace and quiet. But the real highlight was the food in the Bistro. It was perfectly cooked and gorgeously presented. We had 3 courses and a couple of beers each which came to less than 100 euro - very reasonable for such quality food. Breakfast the following morning provided an exceptional choice of hot and cold foods. It was all so great we have booked to stop off again on our way back home.

Only one (quite thin) pillow each on the bed. We found one more in the wardrobe but we feel that two extras would have made more sense. We could easily have asked for an extra one but maybe that should have been provided as standard. This is a tiny issue, easily rectifiable.

Great breakfast, didn't stay for dinner but the cheese and charcuterie board was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was a lovely independent hotel, very welcoming. Please tell me what you put in your Lillet Rose cocktail as I've tried making it at home and it's not the same!

Rooms were a little tired looking but very comfortable.

Location great as we were travelling to Italy. Very nice staff, we were there on the Monday night so restaurant closed and therefore unable to rate

The room and the breakfast area was a little cold. However this may have been because the hotel only reopened on the day we stayed following the post Xmas break

Our second stay here. Excellent food and wine. Great staff. Dogs allowed in bedrooms and dining room. Rooms and bathrooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The prettiest village to walk around. We are booking again for later in the year. Excellent half way Calais / South of France.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the food is exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful despite our lack of French. The rooms are clean and comfortable if a little lacking in the traditional character of the rest of the property. Peaceful, quiet and a perfect stopover if you're driving to the South of France.

The rooms are basic but functional, I would have liked a little more character to match the beautiful property and setting.
